Comments about Revlon Color Allure Nails, Revlon Red, 24 ea:
I use a number of the Revelon products. I especially loved the Allure Nails (red) and have used for many years. Ufortunately, this last year the quality of this product has decreased. Nail is now flimsey, no white film reinforcemnt on back of nail for a more stronger nail and more natural look. When removing, without the white film on back, the red color sticks to my own real nail. The lush red color has changed to a more red orange dull color. Not as attractive. Can you please bring back the original color and quality? Please contact me with your comments. If this doesn't change I will be looking for another product that looks more natural. These nails are a nice shape and size right out of the package. They look natural and when I use them, I don't need to do all 10 fingers. I do the ones that break most often - thumb, index and middle finger on right hand and thumb and index on left hand. You'd have a hard time telling me which are natural and which are artificial once the they're all painted. They go on easily and stay on for more than a week. They can be painted over to change the color if you choose. You can't use quick dry top coat though because the original color will bubble underneath. The glue that comes with it is better than most I've tried. I tend to wear them for a week or two and then a second set for a week or two. By that time my natural nails are long enough to skip the artificial nails for a while. After a week to 10 days, they're not too bad to remove either.
Preparation: Lightly buff natural nails and clean to remove any polish or oils. Locate the number on the underside of each nail and select a size that closely matches your natural nail.
3 Easy Steps:
To ensure proper application, make sure the number on the underside of each nail is located at the tip of your nail, otherwise placement will be upside down and not durable.
Apply an even layer of glue over entire natural nail and back of artificial nail. Use enough glue to cover entire area and to prevent air bubbles from forming.
Press nail firmly for 5 seconds. Use manicure stick to wipe off excess glue.
To Remove: Soak in acetone polish remover until artificial nails dissolve. Do not break or peel off nails.
To maintain healthy, strong nails, glue-on nails should be removed every 7-10 days and a new set applied.
