I am quite impressed by Revlon's Lip Butter! They're more hydrating than a standard lipstick, yet they have more robust pigment and better staying power than a tinted lip balm. As other reviewers have commented, the color builds well so you can make the color subtle or dramatic per your preference.

Fig Jam is a hard color to describe; it appears very dark in the tube, yet applies more on the sheer side. I'd call it a warm reddish-brown, but it's not overpowering or "goth" looking because it's so sheer. Normally I am attracted to the berry-pink shades, but Fig Jam is a great alternative when I want something a little more sophisticated. Also, it is flattering with my fair complexion.

Bought 2 as they were so hightly recommended.
Not impressed. Get better effect with lip liner pressed into lips, and or blotting lip stick for more natural color. Thought these were thick, heavier than expected, more like a lip stick with a sheen. Not what I expected. One was gritty. Easier and faster to use a regular lip stick, just dab onto lips and blot for a natural effect or use a lip liner all over and then add a gloss. This was not an impressive product

Ladies, do not be afraid to try this color. It is one of the darker looking ones in the tube, but it does not apply that way to the lips (not like Red Velvet or as intense as Raspberry Pie). I have a medium complexion and this is great for daytime. It is a difficult color to describe (not sure if I should classify it as cool or warm) but on the lips, it gives just the right amount of color and shine. Your lips only better and more THERE! I love it especially when you are just running out the door but don't wan't to go bare-lipped. It is sheer without any real shimmer. I was very pleasantly surprised with this one-go for it!

I have almost all of the Revlon Lipbutters simply because they are so good! I love to layer lipgloss over lipstick but this product eliminates the need. I have naturally dry skin and lips, this product adds moisture and leaves them supple and smooth. Figjam is the best color. It goes on sheer and is just divine. I have fair skin and this does not overpower my complexion. Another great attribute is this is buildable if you want a more intense color. Must have, will repurchase.

This is pretty much the perfect lipstick for me. I have it in two colors and while it's not totally true to color (the Fig Jam is much more red than brown on me for instance) they are sheer enough to look natural without sacrificing any vibrancy and are quick and easy to apply.

I'd compare it to CoverGirl Lipslick which I've also used and like, and which are less expensive. However this has a much smoother texture that doesn't leave my lips dry later, doesn't have the unpleasant taste and has a better color selection.

When I first heard about this new product line I was beyond excited! I have been wearing Revlon Color Burst lipstick for quite some time and it is my favorite lipstick (and I use both budget and higher-end brands). I do not like lipgloss - it is usually so sticky and waxy and disappears very fast. This product does not have that feeling - it truly is butter - moisturizing, easy to wear and GORGEOUS colors to choose from. I already purchased berry smoothie and lollipop and now I want to buy them all! Lollipop is a gorgeous bright pink/fuschia and Berry Smoothie is a more everyday pink. You really get great color from these - which is something I wasn't sure if I could expect. Can't wait to try them all!

I am quickly becoming a cheerleader for these. Like I wrote in my other reviews...I was suckered in by the cute Emma Stone commercial. First, I stepped out of my comfort zone with this color. I am typically a 'nude lip' girl, but, since I have a drawer full of nude shades, I wanted to try something NEW. "Fig Jam" looks scary in the tube - a deep, intense eggplant shade. On lips...it is heavenly. Subdued, but still, very much, THERE. One coat gives a wash of color...or you can add more intensity by adding multiple layers. Whichever way you choose...this is an awesome find. The texture is amazing...velvety, moist, smooth. NOT sticky. My lips feel softer, even after the product wears off - better than most lip balms I have used. I highly recommend these. I purchased 4...and am thrilled with them all.

I'm picky about lip gloss/balm because I can't stand feeling shiny/sticky/waxy/thick textures on my lips. I finally picked up the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter after my friends raved about it. And it really does live up to its name! It makes my lips feel soft, moisturized and kissable without feeling sticky or like my lips are coated in lacquer. It also has a nice subtle shine which I prefer. My lips are naturally pigmented on the darker side, and the Fig Jam color gave my lips a little color that looked very natural, even though it looked really dark in the tube. I am a big fan! I want to hoard them all before Revlon discontinues making these!
