I've been looking for the perfect shade of affordable lipstick to match my olive-toned skin and after a long search - this is it!

It doesn't have a funny smell or taste like most lipsticks and it's smooth and glides right on. Doesn't look cakey at all. The only con would be that I have to reapply often.

I got this as well as the Revlon Peach Petal lip gloss to create the perfect nude lip and voila! Perfect nude lips. I have an extremely pale complexion and never would have thought to have nude lips, but this actually works on me to my surprise because it draws attention to my blue eyes. Anyway, I can understand the other comments about this feeling/looking like concealer when applying. I do not think this would look good on its own because of the texture and you cannot apply too much of it on the lips or it does look like concealer. Also, I'm not sure this works for those with an olive/med-dark complexion, but I could be wrong. I'm happy with it!

Three stars, because I love the ColorBurst lipstick line. I decided to try Soft Nude, even though I do not understand the concept of nude lips. It feels and looks like I am putting concealer on my lips. If you do not apply it just right, and you leave a portion of your lip uncovered, it looks totally weird. ColorBurst lipsticks are of excellent quality ~ I won't buy Soft Nude again...

Great nude lipstick. The consistency is very creamy and moist and doesn't leave my lips feeling dry like other brands. The color by itself is not right for everyone's skin tone, but can easily be adjusted with the help of a lip liner or lip gloss.

I rarely buy cosmetics at the drugstore, but tried this item because of great reviews on makeup blogs and boards. I have fair skin with strong yellow undertones and rosy lips that are a shade darker than this lip color. This lip color is so flattering and neutral, and goes on well with no odor or greasiness. It wears off well, too. Great for a trendy nude lip with slightly bronzed skin and smoky dark eyes.

Revlon discontinued my favorite ColorBurst shade in Blush, which is hard to believe, because the line only launched in June '10. I decided to try Soft Nude, since it is the lightest shade to Blush. I must mention that I don't understand the concept of nude lipstick and this is only my second attempt at trying to wear this look.

The Revlon Soft Nude is a much better quality lipstick than the other brand I tried. However, it just doesn't work for me. It feels and looks like I am putting concealer on my lips. If you do not apply it just right, and you leave a portion of your lip uncovered, it looks totally weird.

Someone else suggested using Soft Nude under other shades. I did try it with ColorBurst Soft Rose, and it looked okay. Other recommendations are to use Revlon Nude Lustre Lip Gloss. I tried this, but the lip gloss looked gooey on the nude, concealer color lipstick. Maybe, Revlon Shine City will work better.

Four stars because the ColorBurst lipsticks are excellent quality products. I won't buy Soft Nude again, and I since they discontinued my favorite shade, Revlon will be getting an email from me. My next purchase will be ColorBurst in Peach...

This lipstick in Soft Nude is an amazing product. It's creamy, moisturizing, true to color, and better than a lot of high-end lipsticks in performance.
