I have colored my hair for years with no problem until last year.All of a sudden my scalp would feel like it was on fire after coloring.I tried product after product.Nothing worked until this Revlon Color Silk.
I was always afraid to try it because the price was so low (silly,huh ?)Anyway,no burn,my hair feels so soft and the color is great !

I've been using Colorsilk for years with the same great results. I have long hair, so I use two boxes. No ammonia--the only gentle hair color I've ever found. Re-apply to roots every four to six weeks. Leaves hair in good shape. I always get lots of compliments on color and shine!

I always use Colorsilk as my only choice for hair color. It never lets me down. The price is a wonderful perk so that is a great help to me. I wouldn't take the time to review this product if I didn't think it is a great value for your money. You cannot tell when I color my hair because it looks so natural. I received my order very quickly. I couldn't be happier.

This product is easy to use and I like this product, but cannot find it in any of my local stores....must order through drugstore.com.

My hair is very dry, totally gray and I find I must re-color every 3 weeks - maximum time it lasts. The color is a little different from what the box shows, so the first week it is a little darker than I like, 2nd week is perfect, 3rd week very faded. If I need to wash my hair more often, I would have to color every 2 weeks...and that is a major chore as I have long hair (half-way down my back--but it is thin).

I would love to see coupons come out for Revlon Colorsilk. There used to be a coupon printed on the instruction page, but that hasn't happened for years. On a limited income, and want to look nice, I can use any/all financial incentives there are!

I have recommended this to my sister who is gray, but she does like the idea of it's 'short life'.

Although the color is darker than shown, I really like the natural color. It does tend to fade over time, but no more than other products. It is VERY difficult to find. Revlon recommended Drugstore.com. I cannot find it in retail stores. I do hope Revlon continues to make this color.

Revlon makes terrific hair-coloring products and have used a few of them with results that match the box it came in but NOT this one! It made my hair 2-shades darker with more of a dark blonde color than 'light ash blonde'. I don't hate it but I don't love it either... just disappointed. The gray in my hair makes it look a bit highlighted. Otherwise, it would look flat. It might be a good match for someone looking for a dark blonde color. Just know it could turn out a little darker than what the box shows.
