I have a dishwater natural hair color. I have been "blondifying" for 20 years. Having run the gamut of hair coloring, from salons to home disasters, I am very pleased to have found something so simple and perfect. This shade brings my hair up to a shiny, pretty blonde in about 30 minutes. I use it only on the roots about once/ month. The conditioner is the BEST. I wish they would bottle it and sell it. My step daughter uses the same shade to put highlights in her hair. It is an exceptional product for the money.

I'm naturally blonde, hair going dark in my senior years. After using this, my hair is reddish, not a white-blonde. But I love color, so not afraid. but. If you are incredibly over-picky with your hair, this might scare you. I love trying new things, so now i'm STRAWBERRY BLONDE, rather than NATURAL BLONDE 04. oh well, i'm game! Life is full of surprises, enjoy them! Does makes your hair very silky & soft. Great condition afterwards!

This is a great color. I've got light brown hair and sometimes use a dark blonde just to lighten my hair a smidge, though they often end up actually darkening my hair... so, I'm not sure if my hair is lighter than I think or what. But, when I use this you can definitely see roots, but it's an awesome color, looks super natural (and everyone thinks it is... maybe I'm the only one who notices those roots!).

It smells great, and the price is definitely right. I keep trying other brands because this shade is hard for me to find in retail locations, but this color really works, and looks great. :)

After reading many great reviews and deciding that it was time to return to my "blonde roots", I bought Revlon Colorsilk in Ultra Light Natural Blonde 04. My natural ashy blonde hair came out blonde with light blonde highlights. Colorsilk doesn't leave a horrible smell in your hair like most at home hair colors do and my hair was soft and yes...silky. I've recieved nothing but positive feedback about my haircolor! You'd think that around [$] for a box, the product isn't going to be great, but seriously, I don't think I'll be using anything else in my hair other then Colorsilk! Total keeper!

I find the colors are true to what is shown. I use two different colors and they are both easy to use, the color holds up well with minimal fading over time.
