It's relatively easy to apply, but if you want to smudge it you have to do it right away before it sets. I use a stiff Mac eyeshadow brush to smudge it a bit, because I don't like it to look like a line around my eyes. I have a Clinique eyeliner that I find a little bit easier to smudge. Once it's on, it stays on. I use a Neutrogena makeup remover pad to take it off. Overall, I think this is a great, everyday color and a good value. This is definitely long lasting, but it takes a lot of effort to apply...it doesn't glide on easily. I was hoping that due to the heat and humidity in Hawaii that it would soften...glide on better, but still no dice. The color is also a little lighter than I expected.  Pros

I like not having to sharpen a pencil, and I've scratched myself on the wood of the traditional eye pencils, so I will only use the plastic barrel type of eyeliner. This product stays put, and is not apt to smudge as much as some of the others, yet it comes off pretty easily with eye makeup remover. I also like that they offer 2 different colors of brown, as sometimes I like a softer look during the day. Pros

I only wish there would be some warning when the product is running out. Since it is self sharpening, all you have to do is twist it to use it. Pros
