This is not a match to Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation in "Shell"- the foundation I buy when I'm not broke. :) But this is still a decent pick, and by far the best drugstore foundation I've tried to date. My skin is normal, not prone to breakouts. It can get a little oily in summer, but I don't shine much, and my pores are essentially invisible. As this foundation is drying, I will choose the creamier formulation of this the next time that I purchase it. I do like the very fair, neutral color that this provides. I'm extremely fair, with a cool undertone to my skin, and I love that this is neither too pink nor too yellow. The blending needs to be done quickly, as this dries pretty fast. The coverage level is medium. If you apply it with a cosmetic wedge sponge, going straight down the face, you can get it up to medium-full coverage. If you have dark circles or a lot of broken capillaries, you will probably still have to use concealer. But, again, for a drugstore brand, I've never found better coverage in a liquid than this. It looks very natural, like a second skin. The SPF is great. It lasts a good twelve hours or more, with no touch-up needed. I use Revlon's stick concealer in "Fair" & their Translucent Pressed Powder, and I'm very pleased. Virtually all of my makeup & brushes come from Revlon, and most products in their line are very good. The price is very reasonable based on the quality & quantity that is received.

I really did not like this. Everyone absolutely raves about this product & I can't understand why. The coverage is way too thick & cakey. & I'm one who likes full coverage, but this looks so makeup-y & unnatural. It made my skin get so dry it started peeling & I have oily skin! The one thing it did do is last all day without making me oily, which I have never had any other foundation do but with all the negative effects, it's just not worth it. I really wanted to like this. It was just horrible, people even said things, like asked if I switched makeups, said they didn't like this one & that it looked too cakey & makeupy. & I tried using a very little amount, it did not make a difference. This foundation is also extremely difficult to blend & dries way too fast.

Amazing coverage, stays matte all day long. Liquid foundations usually turn me into an oil slick within an hour or two. This foundation feels like and stays matte. I use the elf high def powder over the top to set it.

Again, I kick myself in the rear for buying something like this that when reviewed elsewhere, doesn't really make the top of the list.

It's thick and looks cakey. I go between using bb creams and foundation whenever the occasion calls. I don't wear it everyday and I wouldn't call myself an expert but I would like my skin to look like skin and not as if I just frosted a cake on my face.

I also tried this in the Whipped form and so did my mom. We tried to tell ourselves in the beginning that it worked great and was our new go-to foundation, but after a couple of weeks we both chucked ours because it doesn't look good in the light, its heavy, and not that great.

Comments about Revlon Colorstay for Combo/Oily Skin Makeup, Ivory 110, 1 fl oz:

About 9 years ago, I switched from liquid makeup to mineral makeup after getting frustrated with sticky, heavy products. I was happy with mineral makeup until recently when I realized... it actually wasn't that great! It didn't give me the coverage I need, I sweated it off (which took about 5 seconds here in Florida), and it made me breakout. I decided to go back to liquid makeup, which was pretty terrifying after a decade of using the exact same product.

I'm happy to say that I'm in LOVE with Colorstay! Let me count the ways:
          - I put it on and don't even feel like I'm wearing makeup.
          - It provides buildable coverage.
          - My skin isn't the greatest, but now it looks close to flawless.
          - It hasn't exacerbated my acne.
          - I don't sweat it off and I can make it to the end of the day without looking like an oil slick.
          - With mineral makeup, my glasses would quickly wear my makeup off on the bridge of my nose, leaving an awkward red mark on my nose that was immune to all of my retouching attempts. This stuff STAYS and I don't have to worry about my glasses messing it up.

I'm really happy with this makeup and haven't felt this confident in a long time. I wish I had switched products earlier!

This is my all time favorite foundation. Great for oily skin and provides full coverage. It is a bit expensive for a drugstore foundation but I think it is worth it. I like to finish this foundation with the Rimmel Stay Matte power on top!

Comments about Revlon Colorstay for Combo/Oily Skin Makeup, Ivory 110, 1 fl oz:

I usually will apply the foundation with my fingers or a foundation brush. I have very light skin so I was happy that it came in a light color as light as my skin is. It is full coverage as well, which is good.
But I found more negative things than positive:
It looks terrible on skin that isnt perfect. My skin can either be dry or oily. My skin is more dry than oily, so I got the one for "normal/dry skin". The makeup looked awful. It looked cakey and was difficult to blend. After wearing the foundation all day, I washed my face and I broke out like crazy.
              2/10 Would not buy again.
