Don't normally write reviews, but this was such a disappointment, I had to!
First of all, I can't seem to learn that with cosmetics, "gel" seems to mean "cake", like old-fashion rouge! Nothing smooth or flowing about it, just swipe the (clunky) applicator over the flat, cream color in a small container, and try to apply with the makeshift cap-turned-brush. The brush is also large, flat, and awkward. And unless you wash thoroughly, will be a dry, crusty mess next time you try to use it. The liner I did manage to get on my eyes was flaking within an hour or two. Really wanted this to work, as I don't like to stretch my eyelid to draw a line, but this isn't the answer! Will be returning it for certain!

I've read a poor review from Karlabelle on the drugstore.com mobile site and if you've seen it I'd have to completely disagree.

This eyeliner is not cluggy or hard to use. It has to be used like nail polish. If you smother the brush with nail polish and glob it on your nail the result won't be flattering. However, if you use the appropriate amount you'll get a nice finish. The same is true for this eyeliner.

I usually use liquid with a felt tip so at first I had no interest in using a brush –but - out of desperation in trying to find a nice creamy eyeliner, I decided I had nothing to lose. I am so glad I tried it because this is the best creamy eyeliner ever. I've tried MAC's grease sticks and I am happy to say that Revlon Colorstay cream gel liner is way better – and cheaper. It doesn't take long to get used to the brush, once you do it gives you great control on lining the eye, I was very pleased. You can make a sheer line but I prefer deep/opaque color. After building the color (I used Charcol), I was so happy at how beautiful it looked. I have greasy eyelids and after applying over concealer, powder foundation every liner I've tried will melt away, but not this product. I was so surprised to see that it barely rubbed off after a long day. The best part is I have very sensitive skin and I have a hard time finding mascaras, liners…that don't burn but I didn't have a problem with this at all. After trying this I am going to try Revlon's Colorstay liquid eyeliner too.
