I love the formulation on this: it's thick and almost gel-like and a little goes a long way. I tap my stippling brush it the jar a few times and buff it onto my face. The coverage is medium and it feels lighter than the liquid Colorstay foundation. The wear time is great and it looks natural since it blends easier than the liquid one. My only complaint is the color selection. I usually wear Toast in the liquid line and unfortunately they did not include that shade in this new range. I noticed that Revlon eliminated a lot of the warmer, golden shades which is a shame. I actually returned Rich Ginger (it was much too pink) and bought Natural Tan and Caramel to mix together. The color match is much better when I mix those two but it's still not Toast. The whipped formula is also not as transfer resistant as the liquid Colorstay. Otherwise, I really do like this foundation.
