This mascara has short bristles over most of the applicator with three rows of extra long bristles that run down the length of it. I don't mind these bristles, but the brush picks up a lot of the product from the tube. There's an impossible amount of mascara on the brush during the first two or three weeks of use, then there's a much more manageable period of three weeks before you start to notice the sparseness that indicates it's time to get a new tube of mascara. I purchased this in a duo pack from my local drugstore, and won't be repurchasing again. The extra drama it offers your lashes is fun, but the messiness is not something I want to deal with again.

I am a 35 year mascara user and this is the BEST ever. I have tried all kinds, from the very expensive to the "beauty editor's must haves" and this is the first mascara that does it all - adds length, volume and separates. I haven't had any problems with clumping as others have mentioned. The brush is really the key - and if it is used correctly, produces amazing results. I have long days and the mascara does not smduge, although, for water based it is harder to remove than others. I dread if they stop making it - going back to two to three different tubes to get it all done!

I bought this on a whim without reading any reviews; I was in the market for a new mascara and since I didn't have a specific brand in mind, I thought I'd try this out.

Big mistake. At first I thought it looked OK, but 10-15 minutes after I applied it, my lashes went from looking nicely defined to stick straight. The flaking started shortly thereafter, followed by smudging ... and I didn't even apply this mascara until the middle of the day.

I think the design of the brush (alternating rows of long and short bristles) cause too much product to 'wedge' between the rows, making it messy to apply.

I wore it once more today to see if anything would change, but every time I've looked in the mirror, I've had a bunch of flakes under my eyes.

Unfortunately I didn't save my receipt, so this is money down the drain. Off to try something else, but I'll read reviews beforehand this time around.

Too large an applicator and clumps too easily. In fairness, I used the product again on another day (some days you aren't as coordinated....). Consistent in it's above mentioned 'cons'. Terribly disappointed and thankful that I had another brand mascara available in my makeup case.

I would give this zero stars if that was an option. Like others who have have posted reviews, I got this because I thought it would be a great product with the unique brush. The first week or so was fine, although I noted a lot of flakes and that it was difficult to remove. However, the last two times I've tried to use it the mascara is just in huge clumps and globs on the brush when I pull it out. Terrible stuff-- worse even than the old-fashioned cake mascara I tried a couple of years ago. At least with that I could somewhat control what went on the brush. If I keep using this stuff, I'll look like Tammy Faye Bakker. I'd return it but I already tossed the packaging, so I'll be tossing the tube as soon as can. Cover Girl or Maybelline are *so* much better than this junk! This was the first time I've tried Revlon mascara, but based on this I will never try it again.

This mascara is horrible! I couldn't believe how clumpy it was even on the first application. I already threw it out as it looks like it will only get worse. I'm very disappointed in this product.

I bought this mascara because Revlon products were on sale at my local drugstore. I pulled the brush out of the tube and found a goopy mess. I've never seen a new mascara produce so many clumps on my eye lashes.

This is by far the WORST mascara I have ever used. I bought it thinking it would be a great mascara with the unique brush. When I opened it, I was immediately disappointed. The brush is horrible and the mascara is clumpy and messy. It's overall a bad product. Don't waste your money. I suggest CoverGirl Lashblast.

The first few times I used this, I got beautiful results. Then the formula went terribly clumpy. I hope I just got one from a bad batch or Revlon has fixed the problem.

This is hands down the worst mascara I have ever used. I bought it hoping it would add volume and definition, the way it advertises by none other than Jessica Alba. However, it is the clumpiest mess of a mascara I have ever seen. Globs and globs just come out of the tube. The brush is a hot mess. It is just one big clumpy mess of a mascara. I threw it away after trying to use it for a bout a month. Please don't waste your time or money on this trash.
