I'm not a person who has a lot of hair, so I've been lucky that I've been able to avoid this for so long. These work perfectly for me. The tip is tapered so It's easy to grasp each hair. It's very helpful to me that the handle is easy to hold and doesn't slip and slide in use. It just plain doesn't work for me. After about ten tries to grab at a hair, I've usually run out of patience. If I'm lucky, I might manage to cut the hair off (rather than remove the root.) My other tweezers (brand unknown) can easily grab these hairs on the first try. Now if only I could figure out how to get another pair of my old tweezers.... You end up breaking the hair and completely defeating the purpose of tweezers. They are just terrible at removing a hair by the root. They will grab hold of hair if it's long. If it's short (as in eyebrows beginning to grow out) they aren't sharp enough. For numerous long hairs (!!) they would work great. Pros

The reviews seemed mostly positive,however...what a disappointment!! My need is to remove those pesky chin hairs. This tweezer did not pull out the hair but broke it off instead...oh no!!!!! I'm always losing them because I don't want to be without them - on trips, at work, in every bathroom at home. You don't miss when you go for a stray hair with these, and you absolutely pull the hair completely out. Inexpensive and effective.
