I remove my mascara wand from the tube & let it sit for a minute while I heat the curler for a few seconds with the blow dryer. Then I apply the eyelash curler to one eye for about 30 seconds. I immediately apply mascara to that eye. Then I repeat the whole process with the other eye. It works great if you use heat. It makes me look like I have false eyelashes on. The design is easy to use. I do not use AFTER mascara as this just clumps the lashes together & makes a mess. If you've never tried heating the curler, I think you will like that, just don't get it too hot. VS Most Liked Negative Review Doesn't work, and it hurts! I can't believe this is a Revlon product. I bought a new eyelash curler because I could no longer find refills for my old one. The pads that now come with the curler actually stick to my eyelashes and pull them out! I tried both pads; washing the pads; dusting the pads with cornstarch/baby powder. Nothing keeps them from sticking to my eyelashes. This product is worse than ineffective. I'll be writing to Revlon about the 'lifetime guarantee.' Reviewed by 33 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 11-20 Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: Awful. Not only was this product uncomfortable to use, but it was also ineffective. Even worse it also made my lashes fall out. Do not use this product! Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: Wish I could go lower than 1 star. How about a minus 10? The first and last time I tried to use this torture tool I ended up with dents on either sides of my eyes because the curve of the curler is too rounded, Just the tips of the center lashes in the curler and the inner and outer corners of my eye poked. The real ripper is that I also have 2 blood blisters in the webbing between my thumb and forefinger of my hand that did the squeezing! Enough of that! This thing is in the trash! Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: I hate to give this curler even one star, but that's as low as the system goes. Revlon has re-engineered an ingenious but relatively simple contraption into a worthless piece of junk. I, too, can only get this thing to fit on my left eye. What's up with that? My eyes appear to be the same shape and size, so I'm totally perplexed. I've been curling my lashes for years and I've never had a problem before. It was only a few bucks, but I might as well have set my money on fire for all the good this product does me. I've had similar disastrous results with Revlon nail clippers and tweezers recently, so I'd say this entire division has some major quality control issues to work through. Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: This did NOTHING for my eyelashes. I was mad that I bought this, beacause I tried curling them and I held the curler down for 1 minute and my eyelashes stayed curled for about 10 seconds and then went flat. I do not recommend this product! Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: Am I the only one that can't use this Eyelash Curler? It's too wide to reach my lashes. My old plastic one works better. What a waste of Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: HORRIBLE!! Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: This curler doesn't work very well at all. First of all it takes a lot of pressure to get the lashes to curl at all, which hurts my fingers. Secondly, it doesn't curl the lashes evenly. So I get some lashes with a nice curl and the lashes on the ends at a sharp 90 degree angle completely vertical, which makes a very strange look. I got this curler because my mom traded eyelash curlers with me after she bought it and didn't like it. I agreed because I didn't curl my eyelashed very often at the time; but now I am wishing I had my old eyelash curler back which worked much better (A LaCrosse - I think it was). Revlon usually makes good products, but their eyelash curler is subpar. Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: Great eyelash curler. Works perfectly. Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: Not very good. But as with other brands, some individual sets seem to work better than others. My current favorite - I tried every one on the market, regardless of price - is a LaCrosse curler (not available here) with a little spring that gives a good curl with one try. I have to curl my lashes or might as well not try to use mascara because they grow every which way and look worse with the mascara. Comments about Revlon Eyelash Curler, Professional, 1 ea: I love it! Perfect for me! Displaying reviews 11-20
