I wanted to try a red lipcolor but I'm hesitant of lipsticks because I'm constantly kissing my baby and I hate for the color to come off on his cheeks. The best thing I can say about this product is that it doesn't come off on my baby when I kiss him!

It is a good red color - not AS bright as I thought it would be (I was looking for Taylor Swift red lips) but on the other hand, I feel comfortable wearing it in the daytime without feeling too dressed up. It is easy to apply - like coloring your lips in with a marker - and the balm is nice.

I find the color lasts for about 3-4 hrs before I need to reapply. It is very drying so I do reapply the balm or another chapstick a good bit. (But I have found this to be true with every stain I've bought.)

All in all, a good buy for the price.

This is a great option for those who don't like the texture of other lip color products- you really can't even tell you're wearing lip color and this won't come off- which is good for your bf/husband, too ;)
This particular red shade is a nice color, more of an orange red then blue red, I would say.

I rarely wear lip color because it comes off too fast, but I like a bit of tint on the lips. I do not wear any other makeup. Don't even know how to apply it. I am not a stylish person at all! Which is why I like this because I put it on in the morning and that's it. I apply the stain lightly and wait maybe 30 seconds before adding the balm and the color holds nicely.
I thought I was getting a color that was sort of red and it's actually quite bright. It looks very good on me though not normally what I wear. I had a hard time choosing a color based on the choices that appeared on my monitor. On the other hand, since it's a tint or stain it's hard to go over board. I will try this product again.

I'm not really a lipstick girl- always feels too waxy/clumpy and looks like I'm trying too hard. These lipstains are a good compromise- they feel like a (nonsticky) gloss but add enough color to pack a punch while still looking natural, not over-the-top. I own 3 colors and will buy more.

This is not the average person's every day red, but it's still a great pick. Admittedly, as a goth gal, I picked it for its name. Most of the Revlon's Just Bitten stains haven't faired so well due to the drying nature of lip stains. Honestly, Revlon is not as drying as most lip stains on the market. It's pretty fantastic for the pricing too. This color lasts quite long and looks best with a gloss on top of it, as it is a deep color. While it does not compare to Stila's lip stains, it is a diamond (or should I say...ruby) in the aisles of drugstore makeup.
Great pick, great for a romantic twist on the rocker look...or for teen-aged vampires.

The other colors might be good for everyday, but I'm just reviewing the Gothic, which is a bright intense red. It's easy to use, like painting your lips with a magic marker. Light strokes give you a bright, true red, and heavy strokes give you a very deep, dark red. The balm is softening, but you really need a gloss on top to get a finished look. I wore it with a sparkly red gloss on top for a costume ball. My lip color was perfect through dinner, drinks, and dancing. The balm or a gloss do need to be reapplied a few times to keep the lips soft and/dewy, or else they dry out. But the color does not budge! Just what you need when you want to have fun and not spend all night in the powder room fixing your makeup. Overall, I like the product and I'm going to try a more natural color for day.
