Comments about Revlon Matte Eye Shadow, Aubergine 008, .08 oz: I am a dark-skinned woman (NW45/NW50 in MAC colors) and it can be very difficult for me to find a dark shadow that will show up on me that is not black. Black can sometime be too formal/trendy for my job. I really like this matte shadow because I can create dimension in my everyday makeup. If I want more intense color I spray my makeup brush with rosewater and add color to the brush then apply. The color is beautiful! It is more of a grayish purple to me and it applies splochly/stutters over my eyelids and it isn't very pigmented. As a liner, it is o,k, but it fades during the day.
