Casual enough for a day at work, but flexible enough for a night out, this color works!

Sometimes a matte can be dry, so I add a translucent light pink shine on top of the base.

I bought this lipstick because it was the best matte nude color I've ever seen. It does an amazing job in the mirror, but from the second you take your eyes off the mirror and on, it is settling into your fine lines of your lips. I use Nivea chapstick before applying it, which DEFINITELY helps. Also when applying the lipstick or anything to your lips, try to stroke it up and down gently, as to delay any settling. Or try to dab it on gently. Try not to do the 'mmmmm' thing with your lips, you know tucking them in and rubbing together, because this also makes the colors a lot less consistent. I purchased this item thinking it would give my lips a nice natural looking color. WRONG! This color makes your lips look so pale and ugly! You can get a similar look by wearing concealer as lipstick, seriously! The quality of the product itself is fine, just this color is horrendous! I'm returning under drugstore.com's color guarantee!!!

i have been searching for the perfect matte beige lipstick for a couple of years. have purchase many other higher priced products without the right results. this matte nude attitude was exactly what i've been looking for. just the right color and not chalky.

Finally! After buying many lipsticks and glosses, trying to find the perfect anti-aging, nude lipcolor I found it in this. Had even purchased an expensive primer to mattify , when I discovered glossy made it too obvious that I was wearing something. It did not have an anti-aging effect. This does. Thanks, Revlon!
