I really like this shade of lipstick. Its definitely a going out shade. Its matte, so it is a bit drying but it doesn't compare to mac matte lipsticks, in which i find unbearably drying.

This is a terrific lipstick. The look is a classic red. I wear a lot of neutral colors and this red is perfect with everything. You can apply more for going out or a special occasion, but I usually just apply some to my bottom lip and then press my lips together. That is enough color for me. I would advise wearing a clear or neutral lip liner with it.

I think Revlon makes the best red lipsticks. I love this matte color because it is glamorous and classic all at once--think 1940's and 50's movie star. This is a deep, dramatic shade. I typically wear it at night or for special events, but I think it looks great on clean, minimalist skin. I would suggest a matte foundation, blush (I sometimes use the lipstick as a rouge), finished with translucent powder, and a quick swipe on the upper lashes with mascara. Many reds bleed, but this one stays fairly put. That said, I would still suggest using a reverse/clear lip liner or lip primer to even out your lip line. If you want a little shine and plump, a dab of clear gloss in the center of your lower lip is all you need.

I think this red would compliment most skin tones. It's shiny, but not glossy. My new go to color when going out.

This is a beautiful color: classic, deep red. The color builds really nicely, and it looks great with a little or a lot. It's exactly what I was looking for! Of course, you get what you pay for, so it is a little drying and needs to be touched up fairly often.

I've been looking for a nice bright matte red for a while, and this one works well. While it seemed a bit shiny for what I wanted, the color was beautiful and bright. I ended up forgetting that it was on, and eating like a ferocious animal. But it stayed on, and didn't need much of a reapplication. This is a really good color for those of the rocker/retro persuasion.

I really love this stuff. I have several colors including this one, although In the Red works best with my skin tone. This color is the quintessential, bright, matte, solid '50s true red (more to the pink than the blue). If you are looking for great rockabilly look, this is for you. And if that is not your scene, still consider it as the matte finish is simply chic.
