Comments about Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat 965, .5 fl oz:
I was previously using Seche Clear Base Coat & Seche Top Coat. I thought those were perfectly okay- but this product blows them out of the water! I was very skeptical about this product. For one thing, the low cost (compared with, say, Deborah Lippmann's line) made me a skeptic. For another, I really didn't think an all-in-one base & top coat would work out all right. But I was wrong, on both counts. I used one coat of this, two coats of Revlon's Nail Polish in "Demure" & then another coat of this. I did my nails on Sunday- it is now a week later, and NOT ONE NAIL CHIPPED! NO TOUCHUPS, EITHER! I've NEVER experienced this before, in twenty years of doing my nails. And I've used OPI, Lippmann, Seche, Lancome, and goodness knows how many other brands of nail polish in the course of two decades. I use Tweezerman's nail tool that includes a three-sided filing system & a three-sided buffing system. Between buffing my nails regularly, and the use of this Revlon line of polishes, my nails look better than ever, longer than ever. I have my hands in water all the time, doing all of my own housework & cooking, using hand sanitizer throughout the day, every single day- I'm hard on my hands. This product is a WINNER! Revlon has really improved their makeup, brushes & nail lacquer over the years- I used to avoid their stuff like the plague, I'll be honest. But now I'm the first to say- as a whole, their line is on par w/ my perennial favorites, Estee Lauder & Lancome.
