I must admit the product works just fine. Let your feet soak for a moment and begin to scrub and you will see the results once you open the little box for cleaning. My usage was maybe two/three weeks at a time and each time it was a smooth shave. Be careful because the shaver goes deep and you can cause some damage.

The bad thing is the scrubber becomes dull very quickly. I wish we could buy refills :( Overall this little box does the job.

I am in a wheelchair and get callusses on my palm from pushing the wheels. This is great for gently removing the calluses. Love it.

I just bought this item and I think it's pretty effective in removing dead skin on the feet. I've never used one of these before so when I used it for the first time I was amazed at how much skin came off......it was actually pretty gross. I will warn people not to use this item if you are concerned with getting "skin shavings" on the floor....it's quite messy. I thought all the skin would go into the container it is attached to but that is not the case at all. A lot of it dosen't make it into the container and goes everywhere. I wasn't real happy about that so that's why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5. I ended up using it outside in my backyard and it actually looked like it was snow coming out of it. I take good care of my feet so I was surprised how much came off. Maybe I was pressing too hard? Another thing is that I noticed that it made my feet feel rougher than they did before which I thought was strange. So, I used a pumice stone in the shower afterwards and my feet were smooth and soft. It almost seems like it works better if you use the pumice stone afterwards. It is definitely effective in taking off the "bulk skin" and callouses but it is messy. All in all a good product and will continue to use it along with the pumice stone.

I hesitated to buy one of these because it looked like a cheese grater to me; however, I found that it works very gently and efficiently. I have struggled with calluses on the bottom of one foot for many years and got tired of the chemical pads that only remove a small area and are inconvenient to use. This little gadget takes off as little or as much as you want with no mess.
