I absolutely love this file/board. It works great and for the money is the best I know of. There are at least five floating around here and I find myself picking up another every now and then. Don't know what I'd do w/o these.
My Beauty Routine Takes:

I got this for convenience because it has all in one. It does a decent job, but the shine is just not the glossy shine I've gotten with others and it fades quickly. I'm searching for the block I used to use but can't recall the brand. This is a good office or purse emergency or touch up tool, but I am replacing it as a primary. When I buff, sometimes I slip and with this I'm constantly dragging my nails across the rough emery boards causing scratches or misshaping. I can also tell the buffers aren't going to last long because they are thins strips and obviously there isn't nearly as much area as a block gives. Good idea, just not what I need.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
