This gloss has a lot more pigment than a couple of other Revlon shades that I've tried (Shine City and Pink Afterglow - both very sheer), which makes the application a bit more labor-intensive than that of your average sheer gloss; you have to be precise or else it looks clumpy and uneven. All in all, this is a very pretty color and is flattering to my fair skin.

I have several Revlon lipglosses and decided to try Pearl Plum for winter after much success with the pink colors for summer. I found this plum to be too dark and too sparkly for my fair skin. I am one who usually wears brown-pink sorts of colors and found this color to have too much pigment. If I wished for a darker lip or had an olive or darker complexion I think this color would be utterly perfect. Revlon lipglosses are well made, hydrating, and rival high-end brands.

Tried this today for the first time and have already received a few compliments. The color is strong enough to be noticed but subtle enough to still seem natural. I have an olive complexion and this color seems to brighten my face up. The price is great--I have a feeling this will be the gloss I keep in every purse. The smell isn't the greatest at first, but it goes away fairly quickly. Overall a great buy.

I had my fingers crossed when i ordered this online. Yet , i went for it because if its excellent reviews and yes, i was not disappointed! I have fair-medium indian skin with golden undertone this gave me the perfect plum shade. It gives you just a natural wash of color and subtle shimmer. Not to forget, it is intensely moisturizing, has spf 15 and stays on put for hours...Now can we possibly ask anything more from a lip gloss? This will complement olive complexions naturally for sure...It will go well for fair complexions too, though the look might be slightly festive instead of natural.

This is a great brand of lip-gloss. I have purchased it in 4 different colors and they're all wonderful. I especially like this shade: although it looks purple in the tube, it goes on very sheer and adds just a touch of natural-looking color. I think this shade would work on anyone. The applicator is also very easy to use, no lip brush necessary (unlike my Lancome lip-gloss). Buy it, you'll be pleased.
