This is my first ceramic dryer and I must say it works much better than the old fashioned ones that use just heat. As was said before, the switch is in an awkward place, but it's only "accidentally" shut off once on me. I can get my long thick wavy hair dry in less than three minutes. That's amazing to me. And it doesn't dry out my hair although sometimes my hair is fluffier than I'd like. (Just work your hands through it and that will go away.) It's extremely lightweight and was very affordable. I have one of those metal wire bristle round brushes made specifically for blow-drying and that keeps my hair from curling all over the place. It's wonderful to be able to dry my hair without heat. I have it on the low setting and it just feels like air--wonderful for the summer months.

Bought this to replace a Conair cord-keeper that busted after a year. This is lighter and works faster, but also makes my hair feel dried-out and not silky at all in comparison to my old one. I typically don't dry my hair that often, but I've been trying to avoid it whenever possible since buying this dryer, thanks to feeling like I'm damaging my hair every time I use it.

I never thought a hairdryer could make such a difference, but this one sure does. I have thick, curly hair that I like to straighten with a dryer and flat iron. I can just about get it completely straight with just this dryer and a flat brush, and it looks so shiny and sleek. I only use the flat iron now to finish out a few areas. Really cuts down on the styling time and the frizz too.

All hair dryers are loud, but many promise to be quieter. This one actually is. It's not "white noise" quiet, but it's not nearly as deafening as most of the products available at this price point.
I'm not sure if I buy into the promises about "ionic" dryers, but I can say I have not had problems with static or frizz with this dryer, so something is working.

This dryer is ideal for home or even professional use because it dries without concentrating heat in a small area, but provides excellent air flow with minimal noise.

I purchased this product because it said is was "quiet"!!! I am very disappointed because it is very loud and has a very high squeal to it! It is also larger than I expected!

I really like this hairdryer alot but I've come to realize I just can't use the Ionic hairdryers because it leaves my hair feeling dry and damaged. I loved that it was lightweight and a smaller size but I'm going back to the kind without the Ionic feature. Another thing I didn't like was that the low setting was not enough speed and the high setting was too much speed. I wished there was a medium setting on it. Otherwise, nice dryer for the price.

After a lot of research, I bought this to replace my cheap dryer that was so loud I was worried about my hearing, and which left my hair frizzy from blowing too hard. I thought all the tourmaline/ionic stuff was just buzzwords to sell a product, but now I'm a believer! My hair has never been so soft and shiny, and my previous dryers were also ionic (but not tourmaline). Highly recommend - a great value!

I admit, I had a really old hairdryer before, and needed to update badly. I thought I'd have to spend a lot more, but when I read the other reviews of this dryer, they suggested this performed as well or better than more expensive hairdryers. IT'S TRUE! This dryer does a wonderful job, makes my hair look smoother and less frizzy, and is far quieter than my old one. Bottom line: this is a great buy. I feel like I got a lot for my money!
