These are the only Ricola throat drops that don't make me cough -- isn't that odd in a cough drop??? I have problems with dry mouth and scratchy throat and these work great to relieve those problems. It is also really good that they are sugar free and don't promote tooth decay. Some sugar free products make me thirsty (the sodium in the sugar free sweetener, I guess), but these don't. I can't find these in my local grocery store or pharmacy anymore, so it was a relief when I found them here. [...]

These offer everything I look for in a throat drop. They taste good enough that my children want use them when they need to, but not good enough that they want to eat them like candy. They're also sugar free so no wasted calories or guilt for using them when dieting. Most of all, they're effective.

My husband struggled to find a cough drop that would taste good, and not have a strong menthol flavor, and be sugar free. He is diabetic and he doesn't care for strong menthol or lemon flavor, so the sugar free cherry flavor Ricola is a perfect match.
Adults and children 6 years and older: Take 2 drops every 2 hours, dissolve slowly in mouth. Repeat as needed or as directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years: Ask a doctor. Store in a dry place.
