This deodorant doesn't feel all icky going on like other gel based deodorants. You don't feel any residue but it works well.

My husband was so upset that Right Guard discontinued the clear stick he had been using happily for years. He tried the clear gels and said they not only didn't stop his sweating as well as the old clear stick, but they also stained his shirts. We started scouring the internet searching for the old clear stick without luck. We were ignoring this new "Total Defense" stuff, but finally looked to see what it was. Another clear stick - we decided to try it even though it wasn't what he wanted. It turns out, according to him, it IS the old stick, just with new name and packaging. Even the same scent. He is so happy we found it!

Really love everything about this product just as it is, hope they do nothing to improve it or take it off the market.
