You can throw away the eyelash curler when you use this. It's a very effective curling mascara that also adds great volume and length. And it stays put without flaking until you take it off. After 40+ years of wearing makeup, I have to say this is the best mascara I've found. I use the Extreme Black for the most impact, since I wear eyeglasses.

I bought this because a girlfriend used it and she always looked nice. So, basically I was trying it. It was all that is promised; but maybe it flakes a bit.

I am using an eye drop for glaucoma prevention that causes my lashes to grow wildly long and at all angles. This mascara makes them all curl up and go in the right direction and doesn't clump up. I love it and have now purchased 4 tubes over the last year.

This mascara has replaced my eyelash curler. I use this as a first coat, and I do about 21 strokes on each of my upper eyelashes. (I don't usually use it on my lower lashes.) The brush keeps the eyelashes separated nicely. The curves mascara dries quickly, so that I can apply my volume/lengthening mascara to the first set of eyelashes as soon as I'm done with the curves mascara on the second. The way in which the mascara dries is probably what gives the curves, but because it is rather drying, I wouldn't recommend wearing this mascara for more than 10-12 hours -- after that amount of time, my eyes and eyelashes feel very, very dry. (and when I inadvertently rub them--not a good look).

I heard some good reviews about this mascara and gave it a try. The bristles are the plastic kind and not the regular brush. Nothing transfers onto your lashes. I had to do about 20+ strokes on my lashes to even see any sort of difference. =( I love Rimmel but this mascara is no good.
