I'm not so sure it's "transparent" but I'm incredibly fair it probably wouldn't matter for me. I've been without it for a few weeks and am missing it tremendously!

Secondly if this is suppose to be "transparent" you shouldn't even be able to tell you applied a color to your skin, but on my fair skin it made me turn practically albino (white) and I didn't even use that much. Aside from the color it seems like an alright product but due to the color I will not purchase this product.

Comments about Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, Transparent, .49 oz: Love this powder, gives me a great matte finish. I have only been using it for a week or so, but don't have any complaints yet. I have oily skin so shine is a problem with me, so I use this powder on top of my normal powder for it to stay matte even longer. I will admit the packaging is a pain and lid does not stay on, but I just secure it with a rubber band and it is fine. I keep my normal compact handy for the mirror and I carry a Kabuki brush around with me to apply the powder if I need a touchup.

It also makes my face really soft. I didn't like that it didn't have a puff thing so I bought some circular foundation sponges to use with it. That works perfectly and the top still fits with it in there. Definitely give it a try if you have shiny, oily skin! Pros
