Comments about Rite Aid Nicotine Transdermal System, Step Two, 14mg Patch, 14 patches:
Just as effective as the more more expensive products. The only thing I find inferior about these patches is that they don't adhere to the skin as well as more expensive brand (Nicoderm). The least bit of sweating, such as while doing yard work and they will fall off. Also, had some fall off while taking a shower. A couple of strips of waterproof tape fixes that problem and they still remain cheaper.

Don't waste your money on these. They do not stay attached to your skin.

I have had no trouble with these patches. At half the price of the name brand, I highly recommend them. The only drawback is that they don't come in clear like the NicoDerm patches.

Comments about Rite Aid Nicotine Transdermal System, Step Two, 14mg Patch, 14 patches:
I have never written a review before, but I've tried all kinds of patches and I would have appreciated some knowledge when I started getting into it, so I'll share with you what I know.
There are two kinds of patches, clear square ones, and round opaque ones. They both come in brand name and generic. I have not found a difference between brand name and generic- most of the drug store generic patches all come from the same manufacturer. The clear square ones stay on longer and are more water proof, however they leave a sticky residue that takes some effort to scrub off. For this reason I prefer the round ones for day to day use but will sometimes have the clear ones for swimming or whatever.
When I started out, I looked all around for information about whether you could cut the patches and use half, but I later realized this will not save you any money- when you buy the higher mg patches there are less to a box. So there are 7 in a box of the step one, and 14 in a box of step 2 at exactly half the mg, so there is no need to cut the larger ones.
good luck!

I was a little nervous about getting this after reading the reviews. However, I put it on, it stayed and I haven't had a cigarette. Looks like it works fine for me. I would recommend this product to others. Great value for the price.

Comments about Rite Aid Nicotine Transdermal System, Step Two, 14mg Patch, 14 patches:
While these patches may cost 1/3 less...it's rare that I can use one for longer then 16 hours, negating the 1/3 savings.
They simply do not stay on well...even on clean/dry/smooth skin. By the end of the day, only about 1/2 of the patch still has good skin contact.
Also...for those of you that wish the actually shower...unless you're game for "protecting" the patch each and every day...forget about it.
I should also mention that for whatever reason...these bulky patches are just less confortable for daily use...

Comments about Rite Aid Nicotine Transdermal System, Step Two, 14mg Patch, 14 patches:
This patch sucks; it does not stick to your skin all day (and I have hairless upper arms). I have to use gauze tape to keep it on. Sorry Rite-Aid, but you need to really improve on this product. I seriously recommend the real Nicoderm CQ clear patch -- that stays on until you take it off. Best wishes on your quitting!
