My eyes have been painfully dry since my LASIK surgery in late 1990s. I had plugs inserted several times. They're in but don't seem to help when you don't make many tears. I neglected addressing and paid for it! Ugly red eyes and a bump developed in one of them. I declared war and tried several eye moisturizers to tackle my situation. Rohto Artic is my favorite! It's like a peppermint patty for your eyes! But in a good way. Yes it makes you tear but YES that's what I'm looking for! It's refreshing! My eyes feel good, comfortable, soothed and MOIST after using. I wish it lasted even longer but thank you for the relief. And that ugly bump on my eye....GONE after a week to ten days of consistent use. Love it! Highly recommend!

When I first put this product in my eyes it causes an intense cold stinging sensation. They water like crazy at first, and for about 5 minutes the redness will actually worsen. Then my eyes clear up and remain clear for several hours.

Another reviewer mentioned that this effect lessens with continuous use - that is NOT my experience. I have used nearly all of the bottle by now. It still looks like I have been crying for several minutes after putting these drops in.
I have dry eyes and a pterygium in my left eye- so my eyes are chronically bloodshot.
This product does remove redness and cool your eyes- but what you have to go through to get those results is not worth it.

I've used these eye drops every day for 3 years. They make my eyes feel refreshed and energized. It makes my blue eyes crystal clear, and the whites of my eyes bright white. Great quick fix after a night of partying or a long day staring at a computer screen at the office. I keep a bottle at home, in the car, and in my desk at the office. The cold burn sensation isn't as intense with frequent use. Best eye drops ever!

This is a one of a kind product! I unfortunately lost my bottle the other day (which lasted forever!) so I had to reorder. These are amazing and work like magic. Especially great for when you're out partying and your eyes need a bit of redness relief ;) Extremely great price and it will last you forever! Just one drop in each eye does the trick.

Since I bought this, I've only used it once! It burned so much that I couldn't open my eyes and they were running like crazy for about 10 minutes or so. After that wore off, they did have a cooled, refreshing feeling and they were definitely whiter but I don't think it was worth it - I had already put my make-up on so that ran all over the place, which was pretty inconvenient too.

When I first read comments about the intense cooling sensation on the eye, I was actually afraid to try this variety of drops from Rohto, but since I was already a fan of Rohto-V,I thought I'd give it a go. I found these drops to be the absolutely BEST relief for my tired, sore eyes (especially after watching lots of TV or being on the computer for a while). It will surprise you on the very first application, but I really look forward to this relief now that I know what to expect.
