It does have a sweet perfumey scent which I am not crazy about but I found that the scent wears off *very* quickly. It has a pink/berry tint which I like as it's very natural. Otherwise it is quite similar to the Rosebud Salve. All in all I like this product -- the container is pretty and it's a nice change from the Rosebud Salve. Things I like--it leaves a sheer berry color, and it is glossy. It is stickier than the strawberry, and it smells VERY strongly...for me, it is too strong--and there is floral (the rose) mixed with the fruit (berry) which, to me, makes it too perfumey. However, if you like a strong flavor to your lip balm (think Cherry Chapstick), this is good, and it does moisturize. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm, .8 oz: I had read about this product for a while, and finally decided to order it. It feels alot better than the regular Rosebud Salve, and seems to last longer than other products like this. I will definitely order more in the near future, and give my other products away. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm, .8 oz: I love the original Rosebud Salve so I thought I would try this Brambleberry Rose balm. It tasted and smelled awful! I couldn't get it off my lips fast enough. I think I will just stick with the original. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm, .8 oz: I just got this in the mail today, and I was so excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the smell is nauseating. Its like fermented berries gone wrong. Its almost a sour scent. It feels great on the lips and helps heal chapping, but the smell is AWFUL. I would not purchase this product again in this scent. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm, .8 oz: I've tried many of the Rosebud lip products (rose, menthol, mocha rose, and this one) and many, many other brands, and this is hands down my favorite. Not only does it smell awesome and leave a nice light tint on my lips, it is the ONLY thing that will make my lips feel all better when they're chapped or irritated. I don't know what it is, I've tried many brands with similar ingredients, but this one is by far the best. Service and delivery comments: I placed an order for five of these to stock up for winter. When I checked my tracking number a few days after receiving it, it didn't work (I checked both US mail and UPS, but neither had a record of the number). I emailed customer service and TWO days later I had a replacement package on my porch! If the first package ever surfaces I'll return it to sender, but Drugstore.com didn't leave me hanging in the meantime. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm, .8 oz: I've used the original Rosebud balm for a few years now and after seeing this available on drugstore.com, I read one particular reviewers comments on the natural color it gives so I bought it. I get the same great results that I always got, moisterized lips, fairly long lasting without greasiness. The scent is "unusual", not fruity or what you'd typically expect for a lip product, but I do like it. I absolutely love the natural color it has on my lips and with a little rose or natural lip liner its perfect for everyday. My daughter (8yr) doesn't like the smell however. She still uses the original for her chapped lips. We both put Rosebud on nightly to prevent dry lips over night. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm, .8 oz: This leaves a pretty, natural color, even on my fair, sensitive skin. My lips are soft yet not sticky. It's a bit oily, but not unpleasant. The fragrance was floral and sweet. The flavor was mild. It keeps my lips from chapping very nicely.
