I used this product because my lips were dry. When I first put it on, it adds a nice color and a bit of shine to my lips. But after a while, the product is gone and my lips were left dry and cracked again. I guess you would buy this product is you don't mind reapplying again and again.

I've used the original Rosebud salve in the past and thought I would give this a try. Again, I'm in love. It's very smooth, doesn't have a very strong mint smell/flavor to it, and really moisturizers my lips. I normally put it on before bed and when I wake up, my lips are as smooth and feel great. I highly recommend any Rosebud salve if you have dry or chapped lips, especially in the winter and minted rose is no exception.

I bought this on my search for the holy grail of lip balms... It's a pretty large tin for the price and it's easy to open and stays closed. The scent is both minty and flowery which is very nice (unusual combo but nice). What I really like about it is that it has a tingly feeling when you put it on and it does give a nice shine and softness to the lips. I use it every day where I would usually grab a lipstick or gloss. Though there is no color, I think my lips look like I put a little tinted gloss on them after I use it. I'll keep using this one because it's pretty basic and I love the scent.

i live in the cold tundra far from civilization..ok, not really..i live in ohio and i cannot enjoy the resources readily-available like i did in california, i've been harassing my sisters to mail me products like this incredible rosebud salve, but it was becoming too excessive. i googled the salve and found it on drugstore.com for ultra cheap. the air is dry and cold here. the minted rosebud salve lasts long and it feels so refreshing. you cannot beat the price either. it actually gives lips a bit of a glow too, but don't worry if you are male. my husband and all his football teamates stole my first canister because it is that good, regardless of your gender. it feels wonderful and smells great too.

I had severely chapped lips from some medication. After using this product on them my lips are completely healed. Amazing stuff! And I love the minty rose sweet smell. The taste isn't terrible if you accidentally get some in your mouth!

I first picked this up as an impulse buy while waiting on line at a [...]. I wasn't expecting much from it, but I actually ended up loving it. I like how it looks on the lips - not quite lip gloss but adds a little more sheen than my usual chapstick. The fragrance is nice. And the minty-ness a plus. It doesn't taste horrible if you accidentally eat some.The reason I don't give it a full 5 stars is because I had to throw away half of it due to the fact that I couldn't get to it anymore. The case is metal and the lid is not grooved. At first I had no problem, but after a while, it would take me a while to get the thing open. Maybe I put the cap on too tight. When I try to twist it open (not a twist-off), it wouldn't budge. I'd have to pry it open with my nails. Painful. I gave up one day. I wish they did make it a twist-off or a slide tin or something.I got good usage out of that half a tin, anyway. There's a good amount in there. So all in all, still recommended. Maybe I just need to be more careful with the lid this time.

I love this lip balm, it last forever and it tastes and looks fabulous! It moisturizes beautifully but it does not look like an oil slick, just a gentle sheen. This stuff is not as intense as burt's bees, but you still get a little tingle when you put it on. Plus you can use any extra on your finger for your cuticles. Excellent buy!

I love this lip balm. It's very smooth and silky, which means you can put it on when your lips are at their most chapped! Has a wonderful, light scent.

This is fine as a lip balm but I prefer the versatility of the original Rosebud Salve. Don't like the minted scent as much, either.
