I've brought some high end, expensive lip balm in the past and by far Rosebud lip salve is the best. My lips stay moist throughout the day after 1-2 applications. I've noticed I have not had any fever blisters since using this product even though it isn't advertised to prevent them. I would highly recommend this product.

I read great reviews about this one. Not just on here, but magazines too, but don't believe the hype. This is basically expensive, tinted, perfumed, vaseline.
Vaseline or good ol' chapstick work better than this, actually. This one sits on top of your lips, but never really moisturizes them or heals them. It just gives them tint & shine. You also have to reapply VERY often. Don't waste your money.
*I posted the same review for the mint kind because they both failed to impress me.

I bought a lot lip balms before, Kiehl's,Dior, loccitane, also tried some drugstore line. But this product is the best. Its not pricey and work well. Not greasy at all. lovely smell. I also tried the rose mint one, and I love it!

Classic packaging, a product all make up artists are for some reason toting around. Smells and tastes terrible, doesn't work half as good as it should for the price. But you will look cool pulling it out of your bag, and that it what it is for?

This balm is great- it helps heal lips and gives a very slight gloss, it smells great. The only con is it doesn't wear very long but for the size and price it's not a problem!

I have been using this product for years, and still have my original tin of it. I use it for a variety of skin irritations and chapped lips. I have always loved the consistency and wonderful rose smell. I recently tried the tube version I believe is exclusive to Sephora, and I ended up returning it because the forumula was not as thick and was more slippery feeling than the original formula. I also noticed that it barely had a rose smell. So I purchased another tin from beauty.com. I am afraid to say that I think they have changed the formula. The salve in the tin is more silky feeling and as thick as the one I've had for years. It is also lighter pink in color instead of the rosy color I'm used to. It does not stay on as long, and unfortunately there is not much of a rose smell. Since I've had the original tin for so many years and it still has the wonderful rose smell, I cannot understand why this one does not. I hope if they changed the formula, that they will go back to the original. I will still buy this product.

I just bought this because the Sugar balm I had recently bought just didn't seem to work well. I had read it was a favorite to many celebs, and it was inexpensive enough. It really moisturizes.
