Anyway, gorgeous tin; the balm smells great, if you like roses, that is (I do); and then I go to use it. I don't know about you, but I don't like to stick my fingers into my balms unless it's some "balm emergency". I'll use my lips until I can no longer get at it that way. So I did so with this product, very lightly, and ended up with goop EVERYWHERE. This stuff is SOFT and SMOOSHY beyond belief. What a mess. But now I know. APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! Store this somewhere cool. It's worth the extra measures because it is awesome. There's a reason people have been buying it since 1892! It's perfection in a pretty tin. It's hyper-lightweight, but stays on. It's flavor/scent are very light, but soooooo nice. And chapping? Buh bye... in ONE use. How's that? Granted, it was light chapping, but still... I have very dry lips and this did not penetrate or heal. In fact it felt like my lips were getting drier the more I used it! This might be better for someone who does not have sensitive lips. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I use it on my cuticles (though it does leave my hands oily). I prefer Sally Hansen Lip Butter hands down! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: Smith's Rosebud Salve is one of my favorite products of all time. It keeps my lips soft, moisturized, and protected. It has the most wonderful light rosy scent - it smells just like rose water. I love to use this product as a lip balm but it's great for many other uses as well. I use this product to moisturize my cuticles, instead of eyebrow wax to keep my brows in place, and on any skin that needs extra care like my elbows. I use this product every day, several times a day, and one tin lasts me about 7-8 months. I'd highly recommend this product - it's wonderful! Pros

Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: i have used rosebud salve for daily lip treatment....softening and chapping, for blemishes and also for small cuts and burns and i have been amazed at how effective it is for all of thiese things! i wear it under lipstick everyday and always put it on at night before bed. i got a nasty little cut on the end of one finger right under the nail and i put Rosebud Salve on twice and it was gone! This is by far the best product I have found. It smells great and keeps my lips hydrated. It feels good on your lips, not g unky or runny like some other products. I have also used it on a windburned face and chapped hands. To my delight, it worked to soothe and soften! BUY IT and TRY IT! Pros

By the time I am ready to add lipstick, it is the perfect base coat to keep your lips moist and allow my lipstick to go on effortlessly.
