Anyway, gorgeous tin; the balm smells great, if you like roses, that is (I do); and then I go to use it. I don't know about you, but I don't like to stick my fingers into my balms unless it's some "balm emergency". I'll use my lips until I can no longer get at it that way. So I did so with this product, very lightly, and ended up with goop EVERYWHERE. This stuff is SOFT and SMOOSHY beyond belief. What a mess. But now I know. APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! Store this somewhere cool. It's worth the extra measures because it is awesome. There's a reason people have been buying it since 1892! It's perfection in a pretty tin. It's hyper-lightweight, but stays on. It's flavor/scent are very light, but soooooo nice. And chapping? Buh bye... in ONE use. How's that? Granted, it was light chapping, but still... I have very dry lips and this did not penetrate or heal. In fact it felt like my lips were getting drier the more I used it! This might be better for someone who does not have sensitive lips. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I use it on my cuticles (though it does leave my hands oily). I prefer Sally Hansen Lip Butter hands down! Well, I've found it! Smith's Rosebud salve has seriously improved how my lips feel. It only takes a little bit, and once I put it on, my lips feel smooth and soothed. And when I awake in the morning, my lips still feel smooth and much less chapped. I love everything about this salve. The scent is perfect; just right, without being overly flowery. I even tested it out on my elbows, and it does improve dry cracked skin elsewhere as well! Highly recommend this one. Pros

I'm addicted to the smell...I find myself pulling out the tin to just get a whiff of the rose scent! It leaves the lips soft and supple...with a slight lip-glossy feel. I don't much like the petroleum jelly-type aftertaste though. Apart from that, I found this lip balm to be just perfect! It even cured some of my blemishes and red spots on my face!
