Anyway, gorgeous tin; the balm smells great, if you like roses, that is (I do); and then I go to use it. I don't know about you, but I don't like to stick my fingers into my balms unless it's some "balm emergency". I'll use my lips until I can no longer get at it that way. So I did so with this product, very lightly, and ended up with goop EVERYWHERE. This stuff is SOFT and SMOOSHY beyond belief. What a mess. But now I know. APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! Store this somewhere cool. It's worth the extra measures because it is awesome. There's a reason people have been buying it since 1892! It's perfection in a pretty tin. It's hyper-lightweight, but stays on. It's flavor/scent are very light, but soooooo nice. And chapping? Buh bye... in ONE use. How's that? Granted, it was light chapping, but still... I have very dry lips and this did not penetrate or heal. In fact it felt like my lips were getting drier the more I used it! This might be better for someone who does not have sensitive lips. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I use it on my cuticles (though it does leave my hands oily). I prefer Sally Hansen Lip Butter hands down! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I read about Rosebud Salve in a Family Circle magazine and decided to try it. I usually prefer a tube for my lips but this little can is just right. Fits in a pocket, has a simple design, and the contents work like a charm. I live in Maine which can be very dry in the winter. Rosebud really helps everything thing that chaps and cracks! Try it!! Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I had heard about Smith's Rosebud balm for a long time and found it listed in the "cult favorites" section on [@]. This balm lived up to the hype. At first I wasn't sure that I liked the scent as I'd never had a lip balm that smelled more like a floral, but I quickly got over it. My first tub lasted for YEARS and now that I'm back on online looking for a replacement I see it comes in additional scents/flavors I'm going to give one of them a try for variety sake. In particular I like using this balm at bedtime to really sooth dry skin on the lips, cuticles and the occasional dry spot. I've been looking for a replacement for my tin for several months now and it is definitely much cheaper on Drugstore.com than in [@]! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I just stumbled upon this while I was searching on this site for my regular lip balm. It got such rave reviews that I just had to try it. Big mistake! I just don't see what everyone thinks is so great about this stuff. It's probably the worst lip balm I've ever used, and I've yet to find any other uses that I like it for either. For me, it's just very over-priced Vaseline that doesn't work as well and smells even worse! Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: If I had an addiction it would be rosebud salve!!! We always kept it in our home when I was growing up, then it became hard to find and I am so happy it has made a comeback and readily available. No better lip balm on the market!
