Anyway, gorgeous tin; the balm smells great, if you like roses, that is (I do); and then I go to use it. I don't know about you, but I don't like to stick my fingers into my balms unless it's some "balm emergency". I'll use my lips until I can no longer get at it that way. So I did so with this product, very lightly, and ended up with goop EVERYWHERE. This stuff is SOFT and SMOOSHY beyond belief. What a mess. But now I know. APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! Store this somewhere cool. It's worth the extra measures because it is awesome. There's a reason people have been buying it since 1892! It's perfection in a pretty tin. It's hyper-lightweight, but stays on. It's flavor/scent are very light, but soooooo nice. And chapping? Buh bye... in ONE use. How's that? Granted, it was light chapping, but still... I have very dry lips and this did not penetrate or heal. In fact it felt like my lips were getting drier the more I used it! This might be better for someone who does not have sensitive lips. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I use it on my cuticles (though it does leave my hands oily). I prefer Sally Hansen Lip Butter hands down! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: This is something I have used off and on for years, even as a child. I got it for chapped lips and it helped almost immediately. I also use it to put on my face before working outside in the cold. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: It keeps my lips away from dryness and make them shin. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I really like the packaging of this product and have wanted to try it for a while. I always see it at [@]where it costs twice as much. Glad that I waited to purchase it here. While it feels just fine on, I don't love the rose scent that it has. Just a personal preference. I would consider trying the Strawberry option, but I feel like this tin is so large I may never run out. Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I am so happy to find this product on Drugstore.com! I grew up not far from where this was made and usually have family and friends ship it to me, but I will no longer have to do that:) Not only does this work as a great lip balm, it's also a lip gloss, it treats minor skin irritations, and it smells so lovely. The recipe hasn't changed from the original, which is so refreshing - the fragrance is still the old fashioned Rose that I grew up loving. Kudos to Drugstore.Com! Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I love this product and I use it pretty much every day. It's great for lips, cuticles, and eyes/eyebrows. I also use it on my baby who has had a rash on his face from teething. Another bonus is that it smells nice, but the scent is pretty subtle. Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I bought this along with the original rosebud salve and found myself liking the original rosebud salve better. Service and delivery comments: delivery was much slower than expected. It took a good two weeks for my product to arrive. I was a little bit peeved by that because it wasn't like this was imported from out of the country. Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I love this salve! I use it everywhere. Lips, eyes, dry hands, etc. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I am not sure if this salve works well or not. I have not seen any miracle results or anything. I've been using it the way one might use aquaphor or vaseline, and it seems about the same to me. The problem I have been having is opening the lid. It literally takes me about one minute to pry the lid off, sometimes longer. The tin definitely needs some kind of lever built in to remove the lid easily. Consequently, I find myself reaching for the aquaphor or chap stick instead of this. They're much easier to open. Pros
