Anyway, gorgeous tin; the balm smells great, if you like roses, that is (I do); and then I go to use it. I don't know about you, but I don't like to stick my fingers into my balms unless it's some "balm emergency". I'll use my lips until I can no longer get at it that way. So I did so with this product, very lightly, and ended up with goop EVERYWHERE. This stuff is SOFT and SMOOSHY beyond belief. What a mess. But now I know. APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! Store this somewhere cool. It's worth the extra measures because it is awesome. There's a reason people have been buying it since 1892! It's perfection in a pretty tin. It's hyper-lightweight, but stays on. It's flavor/scent are very light, but soooooo nice. And chapping? Buh bye... in ONE use. How's that? Granted, it was light chapping, but still... I have very dry lips and this did not penetrate or heal. In fact it felt like my lips were getting drier the more I used it! This might be better for someone who does not have sensitive lips. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I use it on my cuticles (though it does leave my hands oily). I prefer Sally Hansen Lip Butter hands down! My Grandmother swears by it, she gave me some about 8 years ago and I have been using it ever since. I use it on my lips, hands, and face. I definitely recommend it! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I was really excited to get this because of the great reviews...I should have saved my money and bought Vaseline. I don't actually use Vaseline because I prefer natural products, so shame on me for not checking the ingredients in this rosebud salve...And I really dislike the tin it comes in. Is there a secret to opening it easily? The one good thing about this product is that my little kids will allow me to put this on their chapped lips because it does not burn like some other lip products. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I was given this Salve as a gift and I LOVE IT!!! I use it for myself on my lips, fingers and cuticles as well as on my baby's face to soothe dry patches of a slight case of baby eczema since he was born and he's 11 months old now. It's great and I'm purchasing this now for all my girlfriends for Christmas!!! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: Good Product! I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's not particularly natural (Petroleum base). I live and hike in a cold climate and this is just perfect. Unlike balm in a tube, it doesn't become unusable at subzero temperatures so it helps keep me protected from frosty winds! I would say this balm doesn't actually IMPROVE the condition of my lips, it hydrates them while its on there, and protects from the environment. However, in using it on your lips before applying lip liner, it does provide a good smooth surface and doesn't seem to become too thick on your lips or change the texture of application. It's kind of expensive as far as balms go, but if you don't lose the tin, it could last you a while. It has no SPF Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: This is a great, multi-functional product. My husband even uses it. However, I think they recently changed the formula- it used to include Borax, which I think was the secret ingredient. It doesn't seem to heal as well as it used to, but I still love it, especially its packaging. The tin is great. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I like the product, love the scent, HATE the packaging - unless it's changed since I got mine a few years ago, it's impossible to get the lid off most of the time, so I usually leave it open in the vanity drawer. Also, yes, it melted once in my bag and then solidified again as a big clump on one side of the tin. I do like the balm, but I don't think I'll buy it again once I've used it up. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: If you like the scent of natural roses, you will love this multi-purpose balm. It's heavy duty moisturizing action works on everything from chapped lips to dry cuticles. Fantastic, classic, and simple product. Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I had to review this product as I have been using it for years. The smell is not overbearing - just a light rose scent... I have never had any adverse reaction. I think the top selling point of this balm is it's so multi-functional. I use it on lips, blemishes and very dry skin. It may not be for everyone but definitely worth a try! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: This item is great!!! I think it is much better than then Kiehl's #1 lip balm. Although I don't like the smell, at least I don't hate it. I will definitely buy more! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: Really awful on me. Smelled like plastic and seemed to dry out my lips more than they were. Also because I have sensitive skin, I developed small bumps around my lips. Im sticking to Vaseline's lip balm.
