Anyway, gorgeous tin; the balm smells great, if you like roses, that is (I do); and then I go to use it. I don't know about you, but I don't like to stick my fingers into my balms unless it's some "balm emergency". I'll use my lips until I can no longer get at it that way. So I did so with this product, very lightly, and ended up with goop EVERYWHERE. This stuff is SOFT and SMOOSHY beyond belief. What a mess. But now I know. APPROACH WITH CAUTION!!! Store this somewhere cool. It's worth the extra measures because it is awesome. There's a reason people have been buying it since 1892! It's perfection in a pretty tin. It's hyper-lightweight, but stays on. It's flavor/scent are very light, but soooooo nice. And chapping? Buh bye... in ONE use. How's that? Granted, it was light chapping, but still... I have very dry lips and this did not penetrate or heal. In fact it felt like my lips were getting drier the more I used it! This might be better for someone who does not have sensitive lips. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I use it on my cuticles (though it does leave my hands oily). I prefer Sally Hansen Lip Butter hands down! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: Petroleum jelly was the only thing I could use on my severely chapped lips all my life as chapstick items only burned my lips. This salve does the same work as petroleum jelly with a much nicer smell to it. My lips are kept moist without the burning and now without the petroleum jelly smell! I keep a handful throughout the house for ready use. One thing - it does melt in the heat (and then hardens again under normal temps). Also, a couple of my children could not use it (or petroleum jelly) without breaking out with cold sores so if you have problems with petroleum jelly you may with this, also. Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I love this stuff! What a treasure I've found. The one downfall, which is not a big one, is the cute little metal jar it comes in is hard to open sometimes. I wear this to bed, and if I forget to open it before I moisturize, it is difficult. But I love this product! Props to the company who makes it! Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I have been buying the rosebud salve for quite some time now. But my last order of 2 I noticed a change for the worse in its consistency. Very thin and not as healing. I need a thicker product for my lips. Can you change it back please? Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I absolutely love this product! I keep it in my purse, desk drawer, and my nightstand. It's lightweight, nourishing, and has a soft light glossy finish to it. With regular use, my lips do not chap. Plus, it's great on my cuticles, elbows, scabs/scars, and anywhere that needs extra moisture. I even have use some on my dogs cracked paw! I love the smell too. I have shared this with my friends (obviously not the tin I use on my dog) and they too are hooked. This product is seriously awesome! Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: I like this product when my lips are super dry. I have sticks of everything ... but nothing keeps my lips from drying out for more than a half hour. Until this. I don't like that it's in a pot (vs a tube) but it does seem like it will last longer because of this and I won't be as tempted to stick it in my pocket and forget where it went. The only thing I don't care for, is the smell. It does smell like roses so if that's your thing, you'll be happy. Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: This salve is a beauty multi-tasker. Yes, it works wonderfully on lips, I keep some on my nightstand and use it nightly and wake to soft plump hydrated lips but I also keep one in my beauty bag for a quick cuticle touch up and it works great in a pinch to clear up dry skin while you are out and about. I also use this on minimal makeup days just a sweep on the lips, cheeks and eyelids for a natural soft look oh and did I mention this is the perfect eyebrow tamer? Yes, the scent is rose and a bit little old lady, I happen to love florals, but not to worry the dry down is sweet and soft and very barely there. Pros

Comments about Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve, .8 oz: This is my "can't do without it" product! I hate the waxiness of lipstick - using this before lipstick makes lipstick go on smooth & blended, not hard/waxy! Great for any dry patches, soothes allergy irritations, any chapped skin, lips, nose, knuckles, etc! I am a cosmetology instructor, and I have recommended this to many of our students, staff, clients, & friends! It is AWESOME for soothing, softening, & healing dry or irritated skin! My knuckles used to bleed every winter - NEVER AGAIN! Kids love this salve - it never burns or hurts when you use it, even over open sores. Messy? No way - wipe the excess on your elbows or knckles after you're done putting it on your lips! No greasy residue left on your fingers! It also now is available in a tube for more convenience, but I love the tins!!!!! Pros
