I used to take prescription Antivert, but this is the same active ingredient (25mg of Meclizine HCl) and does not require a prescription. It is also chewable, which is convenient when you need it on the go, although when you are already nauseous it doesn't exactly taste amazing. However, I think it is just as effective as prescription Antivert and more convenient. VS Most Liked Negative Review I wouldn't buy it again. I would preferyou care something you don't have to chew. I need this daily, but I will never buy that again. I would preferyou care something you don't have to chew. I need this daily, but I will never buy that again. Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: this is a trusted product to 'do the job' for me and I appreciate not having to have presecription medication...over the counter works just fine! Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: I read all the reviews because I am going to try these when we go on a cruise in a couple of months, and saw several that said they're nasty to chew up, which concerned me. I checked the directions and they say "Tablets can be chewed or swallowed whole with water." This is great to know, so I thought I should point it out. Glad to know they've helped so many people, sad to know so many of them are chewing up the nasty little things when they apparently don't need to! Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: In the past I used this product daily because I have a central vestibular disorder. Now I always keep it on hand just in case I need it. It works quickly, it is inexpensive and I do not experience side effects from meclazine. Pros Cons

Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: I have periodic episodes of disabling dizziness, nausea, and inability to stand up and walk. Theses episodes can be brought about by stress, video games where there is a lot of movement, watching too much TV or computer, motion while traveling in automobiles, walking along a path with too many sharp turns etc. When I had my first episode in 1975 I didn't know about meclizine, and consequently was in bed for over two weeks, totally incapacitated. Now , if I have an episode, at the most I'll spend a day or two, at the most,in bed during which time I'm taking up to eight or ten tablets a day. After that I gradually get back to normal function. I do take I tablet at bedtime to keep a level on board. The price of this brand is relatively cheap compared to other on line offers. It works much better than Dramamine (a derivative of diphenhydramine). Pros

Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: Have to use this for vertigo, If I dont I can function but it is difficult and the headaches are unbelievable. This works but does make me tired, which when I am taking it and going to bed is OK but can be bad if I'm going to work. Overall its great and with a bottle of 100 (when most packages contain 8 or less) is great for people who use it quite a bit. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: I find meclazine effective for treating sinus headache with low level nausea. It has a decongestant effect. It WILL cause drowsiness if you are a new user. Pros

Comments about Rugby Travel Sickness, Tablets, 100 ea: I have meneires disease which causes nausea, vomiting, dizziness and/or vertigo. When I get the vertigo the nausea and vomiting are nonstop. This product puts a halt to the nausea if I take it immediately upon feeling sick. ![]() |
