My stylist recommended this conditioner when I first started going to her. I used it with the calming shampoo for a few years, but the shampoo smell started to annoy me (for a lack of a better explanation). Both products are great for my "stressed" hair which is thick and curly. The conditioner is light, maybe too light for some people. I don't like anything that weighs my hair down. I've tried other products, but I keep coming back to the Rusk. Some days I only use conditioner, no shampoo. My hair has lots of body and shine. I am 50 and color my hair.
This conditioner works well, I think I am just biased against conditioners. It's a little heavy for my dyed, thin hair. It works well when used on my ends, however on the bangs and roots it gives a clumpy moisturized look that I am not a fan of.
On a side note, it is great for my Boyfriends thick, curly hair. Seems to tame some of the wild.
I really like this conditioner (along with their shampoo in the green bottle). It's very light and my hair is smooth and shiny afterward. It seems that you get the benefit of heavy conditioning without the weight. I have extremely fine hair and regular conditioners always weigh my hair down afterwards. This one is much better than others I have tried.
I've tried every conditioner out there for my fine, dry, color-treated hair. Now I've found the perfect one! I use this every day, and my hair is no longer frizzy and is so soft and shiny. As a bonus, this is one of the first conditioners I could use daily that doesn't weigh my fine hair down.
I use it every other day. I really glob it on. It makes my hair so soft!! It also helps with the frizzies and fly-aways. Don't think it does much for adding body though, but it's definitely good stuff!!
I've used this product for a while - currently I use it daily in combination with Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo. It does a *great* job of keeping my color-damaged hair soft, frizz-free and nearly weightless. Just don't expect it to be a deep conditioning treatment.
This product is awesome! Before trying Calm, I had "troubled" hair: dry, frizzy, color treated. After the first use, I could not believe the dramatic change in my hair - it shined! It was also silky soft, very manageable, and brought out the highlights in my hair. I love this product!
After shampooing, apply a small amount (because it's a compressed formula use 1/3 less) to hair and massage thoroughly. Rinse completely and style as desired.
