I use after shampoo and towel drying my hair. This product leaves my hair soft and shiny. I tried just about everything after a bad perm, this product is wonderful.

I have very thick, curly, medium-length hair which has a coarse texture. This is the first product I have used that has left my curls defined and SOFT. I hate the stiff feel that so many other products have produced. Also, once I work this through my wet hair, I have to do very little to get my hairstyle to lay right. The curls just seem to fall naturally. The only negative for me is the smell. It would be nice if Rusk could change the scent. All in all, great product.

My husband and I both have used this for years. He uses it for a little hold in his hair, and I use it to protect before blow drying. It really is good for a bunch of different uses! Love it!

This really worked well on my wavy hard-to-manage hair. It gave me body instead of weighing my hair down, which typically happens with products. My hair was not sticky and still had good movement. I usually don't wash my hair every day, but the next day my hair felt dirty after using this product. The main thing I did not like about this product was the smell. Is this really a product for men? Because I thought the sent was manly. I didn't see it listed as a men's product anywhere online, in the store, or on the product label. It has a heavy scent rather than a light, fruity scent that I typically like.

I have a short, funky hairstyle and I love to do crazy things with it, like faux hawks, spiking and gelling back. I tried a number of products (Herbal Essences, Garnier, etc) and every gel, spray and creme made my hair crusty, crunchy, sticky and gross. I could not get my fingers through it if I tried. Sure it "held" my hair in place, but it was stiff and solid. The Rusk Wired creme was actually used on my hair by my stylist, and I loved it so I bought some. It is expensive but absolutely worth it. My hair is literally soft to the touch. I was at the point where I thought all styling products made hair crusty but I have been proven wrong. BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

I have seen Rusk products before but figured they weren't heavy duty enough for my dry, fine, poofy, kinky hair ("4" Type). I've been natural 1.5 years now. :-) As my hair is growing, my ends are all over the place, single strands knots, brittle ends, etc. I needed something with pliable hold to just keep my coily ends super moisturized. I read the ingredients, and wasn't too taken aback with the non-pronouncables, lol, as I prefer natural stuff. Anyway, this rocks!! It's a creamy cream and it has fantastic 'slip'. It's substantial and isn't watery or sticky in any way. I use it when I do updo's, ponies, and puffs. I use it to slick down my edges and add a glop to my ends as well and they curl up so nicely!! It makes your hair so SOFT! But with hold. I'm so glad I decided to try this!! It's a bit pricey but SO worth it.
