I have a skin condition that makes my hands and fingernails extremely sensitive so I need gloves for cooking, cleaning, and gardening. I prefer nitrile gloves as they're thin and fitted which is more comfortable than wearing traditional kitchen rubber gloves or bulky gardening gloves. I've found this particular brand to be the best, and with care they're durable enough to re-use several times (of course re-use depends on what they were used for). Regular vinyl gloves don't fit as well and slip off during use and tear easily.

Regarding the negative comment on size, common sense would dictate that no single size can fit everyone from a woman's small through a man's large so a 'one size' fit is likely the middle spectrum. I wear a ladies size 8 or large glove and these fit perfectly, just loose enough that I can remove them for re-use. For those who need a specific size, this brand is available in commerical quantities by size online and would obviously be more expensive. For this one-size package, Drugstore.com has the best pricing.

I am retired from the medical field but I still use the best glove I can find. I think it is this one. It fits so well and has a great feel - thick enough yet not slipping around on the hand as many gloves do. The only downside I find is that it would be better if it were maybe one inch or so longer for the wrist. It is a little too short for best use. But that is not enough of a deal breaker to keep me from buying this brand - The Safeskin Latex-Free & Powder-Free Purple Nitrile Gloves.

I use these to prep foods that irritate my skin, such as citrus fruits, hot peppers, etc. I have eczema & am often wearing skin medications, so the gloves also act as a barrier. These do not fit as well as Playtex, due the the fingers being too long.

It's a real shame I can't find these in other stores anymore. These are the thickest-mil gloves I could find anywhere. They hold up to most tasks, including auto repairs and heavy kitchen prep. I'm glad this site has them in stock.

Make sure your hands are dry when you put them on. Nitrile glove are not compatible with certain chemicals.

Love these gloves. They are in my favorite color and as a Correctional Professional I use them on a daily basis when going about my daily duties at the Prison. They are strong and don't break under pressure!
