I always had a hard time getting my son to let me put a thermometer under his arm or one of the strips across his forehead. I figured since he LOVES his pacifier, this should be perfect for him. For the first few uses, I compared the temperature reading with another thermometer to make sure the pacifier works alright. It is accurate and so easy, I love it. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THE PACIFIER TO THE BABY AFTER YOU TURN IT ON OR IT WON'T COME ON!

I bought two of these for myself and my daughter for her baby shower. When it came time to use both of them didn't work. Didn't come on, nothing , either the batteries never worked or they both just didn't work..searching for a new thermometer now for the both of us!
