This just confirms my impression of Safety 1st as a purveyor of cheap, poorly designed garbage. Not to mention bland and uninspiring. I guess they thought they would get in on the battery aspirator market, so they actually made it worse, if that is possible. Particularly dreadful is the useless and unnecessary filter system. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Get the BabyComfyNose - which uses your own suction - and actually works really well.

We've tried every kind of aspirator and have finally come to terms with the fact that BATTERY-OPERATED ASPIRATORS DON'T WORK! They are anemic and don't get much snot out. And this one in particular is weaker than most. It's hard after all of the money we've spent to realize that the simple human-powered aspirator that we ignored for so long because it looked gross, is the only one that actually works.

I think it works great! My now toddler can even use it when she feels stuffy and she didn't mind it as a baby as much as she did a normal aspirator. The only problem that it really has is changing the tip and cleaning it out which is kinda gross

I usually don't write reviews, but this item is so bad I wanted to make sure no one else wasted their time and money on this thing. It does not suck anything and it takes 10 minutes to wash it inside! VERY BAD! I can't say it enough. Mine broke after a week! Save your money, buy a better one!
