you'll need a color base coat,PLUS two coats of this polish, to make this work. this is not colored glitter polish--it's basically CLEAR polish with a lot of glitter in it and will not look like the bottle shows if you wear it alone. but if you do use a color base (i've tried white, blue and pink) and wear two coats over it, it looks as close as you're going to get to the bottle and looke great. lasts about a week. very hard to remove.

I found this polish hard to use. It is too thick and clumpy.
