Comments about Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Luminous Matte Pressed Powder, Neutralizer: This is my favorite compact powder. I have oily and sensitive skin, and it is one of the few products that I have found that controls shine very well and doesn't get cakey even when I reapply throughout the day. My skin doesn't break out as often either...just make sure you wash the powder applicator often. Great powder! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Luminous Matte Pressed Powder, Neutralizer: Great for skin with yellow undertones. All the other foundations make my skin look pink. I apply this powder over my benefit tinted moisturizer. Hard to find this powder in stores. Buy online or at [@]. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Luminous Matte Pressed Powder, Neutralizer: I have oily skin (and when I say oily, I mean that after 20-30 minutes of washing my face, it will be slightly to moderately shiny...) and I always have trouble finding powders (loose or pressed) to set my makeup because [A] I find myself having to reapply a lot, eventually making my face look darker because of the pigment build up and [B] my face will get cakey. HOWEVER, I found this product at my local drugstore, and for some reason (actually, I'm a fan of Carmindy from What Not to Wear) bought it instead of the other powder foundation I was originally looking for. The next day, I still used my regular foundation and used this powder to set my makeup (with a medium sized fluffy blush brush instead of a round kabuki brush...) andddd... [A] I found that by using a medium sized fluffy brush, it felt lighter when I applied it to my skin, because I just "fluffed" it on my skin and didnt "BUFF" it on with the kabuki and [B] I LOVE the way it absorbed the oil on my face almost instantly and it stayed that way (even after applying blush and finishing my makeup all together, because usually, after applying bronzer and blush and eye stuff, etc., - my Tzone would already have a little bit of shine....) but there was a total minimal amount on my skin (it was actually the perfect amount because it didn't look like "shine", it looked like "glow") at the end of my routine. ---- Also, normally, I would reapply or blot my skin at least 4 to 5 times a day (I just HATE HATE HATE shine...) but today, after using it a 2nd time, I only had to blot... ONCE!!!!!!! (Meaning, I reapplied the powder to my Tzone via blotting and not "swiping", not with a brush though, but with the sponge that it came with, WHICH IS ALSO VERY GOOD QUALITY, and I love that...) I ran errands, and when I got home sat on the couch and didn't even care about my makeup afterwards. When I went to wash my face off around 8pm, I noticed that my skin still WAS NOT oily! (Except maybe another "glowy" look on the apples of my cheeks, assuming that was from the blush, which is understandable because it's a different brand of product.)
