I have straight to slightly wavy hair. I wanted a product that I could use to make my waves more prevalent without making it frizzy or leaving my hair feeling like there is a product in it. I have found that with this product. It is absolutely fantastic, it holds without making your hair frizzy and leaves hair feeling as though there is no product in it at all. I absolutely love it!!!

This product is great for adding shine and defining layers for that piece-y look. It doesn't have much hold and I would use it as a final layering product. I have thick, straight hair cut in a short shagg. This product keeps my hair from getting too poofy (when that happens I go from cool and hip to soccer mom. Shudder). Shake the product well, spray lightly on slightly damp hair (keep off the roots unless you want really flat hair and don't use too much or your hair will look greasy). Hit it with a blow dryer touseling with your fingers. Then either spray again lightly after dry and arrange layers, or do what I do which is spray (don't forget to shake the bottle again ... the product separates) a bit onto your fingertips and define the ends of your layers.

I love this product for a sort of messy look-not "fixed". Gives your hair little "oomph" and light sheen. Don't use too much, though. A little goes a long way. Go to the website listed on the bottle for some great styling tips.

I have gotten to the point where i cannot live without this product. I love volume without all the weight of hairspray. this gives me soft volume that i love! definitely worth a try if u have thinner flat hair :)

I stumbled across this product while researching what hair products might repair my heavily layered, long shag haircut which has recently incurred some dryness and damage. It's the first and only product line that addresses shagged hair specifically and it got mostly good reviews, so I swung by * on my way to work this morning. When I got home, i took the spray right out of the bag and spritzed some on my hair. I was immediately awed and excited by the way my style effortlessly came to life!

My Hair: I can only confidently review this product for my specific hair type. If you have thick wavy layered hair with a normal moisture level then this is the product for you. I think very fine or very oily hair would not take well to this product, and non-layered hair would probably be weighed down. My hair is very thick, moderately wavy, with lots of choppy layers. The shortest sections are around ear level with face-framing layers and the longest section of hair hits a few inches below my shoulders. I'm a wash-and-air-dry kind of girl and I get a lot of style mileage out of the way it falls and flips naturally. Though they are virgin locks, I did experiment for maybe a month or so with blow drying and heat styling. I did use the appropriate therapeutic products for my hair to protect it from heat damage, but ended up frying the bottom tresses.

(TIP: Don't mess around with full-contact heat styling with super shaggy layers. My hairdresser explained to me that it destroys the hair much more quickly and much worse than if you ironed hair that is less layered.)

The dried damaged area tends to tangle up with the bottoms of the shorters layers and gives me this gnarled fuzzy area. My layers were in dire need of definition. I was skeptical that this product would do much, but HAD to give it a go. And I am SO GLAD I did. After washing my hair, going to bed, getting up, brushing it and going to work for 8 hours, then commuting home, I sprayed this magical stuff on my tattered layers and gave it a good finger combing and some scrunches. That was IT. And my hair looked exactly like I have been dreaming it would look: Just undone enough to be sexy but still put-together, classy and office-appropriate. I am pretty sure I squealed outloud with glee. And even better: After styling my hair in what must have been mere moments, I then cleaned my house for about 2 hours and rechecked the style only to look just as good as when the spray was freshly applied. My fantastic hair stayed awesome until I washed it later tonight, even after I mussed with it using my fingers a few times out of habit.

My ONLY complaint is that it smells rather fruity which isn't so much my bag. The smell did fade though so I'm okay with it.

This stuff was on clearance, and I am really REALLY hoping it isn't being discontinued. I will go buy every bottle of it from every store if that's the case!
