I have color-treated hair with a strong wave pattern that will curl if treated right. I wear it curly. I bought this because I've always admired S.H.'s work and like to try new things. I bought the shampoo and conditioner, which smelll wonderful(coconut-y). The conditioner seemed to creamy/heavy for my hair, which is weighed down easily, even though I have normal thickness, not fine. I put a little gel on and air-dry. The shampoo may be ok, it was probably the condtioner, but my hair didn't lay right at all. It was also too soft, which kills the curl. I don't know what's in that stuff, but it's not for me and I threw it out!

con: I have relatively short hair, and it takes a few pumps to get a decent amount in my hair, along with additional products, but all in all, pleased with purchase! will buy again
