The patches are small but they are so much cheaper than some of the other patches out there. Furthermore, they work! I was rear-ended a couple years ago and continue to have neck and shoulder pain, and they work great. I also do martial arts and have found them to be very helpful on my joints. They're simple but effective. I recommend keeping open packages in ziplocks, however, just because it seems to help them keep their potency. VS Most Liked Negative Review Bad Allergic Reaction!! They worked well in reducing pain, but I developed a terrible allergic reaction. I had a bad itchy rash at the patch site on my knee for nearly a month after discontinuing use . The rash was so bad I am afraid to try them again. They contain rubber, and I fear I may have now developed a rubber/latex allergy. Cons Best Uses Comments about Salonpas Pain Relieving Patch, 2.56 In. x 1.65 In., 40 ea: I have a torn labrum in both shoulders and cervical stenosis. I tried these patches on the off chance they might offer some relief, and they most certainly do. I can now almost completely avoid narcotic pain medication. Until I can get my problems surgically repaired, these will be with me every day. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Salonpas Pain Relieving Patch, 2.56 In. x 1.65 In., 40 ea: Fibromyalgia, arthritis, Lupus. I have used these for years. Have got my neighbors using them. I cut the little patches in strips to use on my finger joints. A whole patch is a bit much on a finger joint. These are great for trigger points..you know the ones that the doctor pushes on and calls it a trigger point. There are four on my back that my husband takes care of. Once you put the patch on, rub it to warm it. I have never had to use the bigger ones. I find the area, which is usually an area where the pain is coming from and cover it or use two patches. There are times I may have them on my shoulders, fingers, toes, elbows, neck ....all over from neck to toes, and they do not omit the smell like the rubs. I use less pain pills and have more time on my feet. I have had rashes from patches, but I have only had it when I have tried to use the patches in the same area over several days. Anytime I can get relief, I will try it. I have used them for about 10 years. Great when traveling! Can put them in little snack bags to carry them anywhere. I grab these before I grab my lipstick! Comments about Salonpas Pain Relieving Patch, 2.56 In. x 1.65 In., 40 ea: I use these little patches when I have muscle spasms and tension in my neck and shoulder. The camphor or menthol slowly seeps into the muscle area and provides soothing temporary relief. It will not heal anything, but lasts longer than putting smelly BenGay, etc. on your skin.
