I have a torn labrum in both shoulders and cervical stenosis. I tried these patches on the off chance they might offer some relief, and they most certainly do. I can now almost completely avoid narcotic pain medication. Until I can get my problems surgically repaired, these will be with me every day.

It has a menthol smell to it and it dumbs the area more than anything. Worked good for my husbands broken hand.

Fibromyalgia, arthritis, Lupus. I have used these for years. Have got my neighbors using them. I cut the little patches in strips to use on my finger joints. A whole patch is a bit much on a finger joint. These are great for trigger points..you know the ones that the doctor pushes on and calls it a trigger point. There are four on my back that my husband takes care of. Once you put the patch on, rub it to warm it. I have never had to use the bigger ones. I find the area, which is usually an area where the pain is coming from and cover it or use two patches. There are times I may have them on my shoulders, fingers, toes, elbows, neck ....all over from neck to toes, and they do not omit the smell like the rubs. I use less pain pills and have more time on my feet. I have had rashes from patches, but I have only had it when I have tried to use the patches in the same area over several days. Anytime I can get relief, I will try it. I have used them for about 10 years. Great when traveling! Can put them in little snack bags to carry them anywhere. I grab these before I grab my lipstick!

If you are taking hydrocodone or anti-infamatory type drugs? beware...I was getting sicker by the hour and couldn't figure out why? since I hadn't taken another pain pill- read side effects of the patch- can cause bleeding, nausea etc. Too much nsaid in my body!

I'm in my 60's and use these patches on my shoulder with every morning when I go out to play a round of Golf and they work really good.

I use these little patches when I have muscle spasms and tension in my neck and shoulder. The camphor or menthol slowly seeps into the muscle area and provides soothing temporary relief. It will not heal anything, but lasts longer than putting smelly BenGay, etc. on your skin.

One thing that should be changed is that once you open the package, the patches lose some of their "power". I put them into a ziploc plastic bag to keep them fresh. They should come with a resealable pouch.
