I use these on my back. Very effective, and doesn't make me sleepy like a muscle relaxant. Have also used on my wrist, neck, upper arms. These stick effectively and don't come off until you take them off. Very good to use on either flat or curved parts of your body. Better than muscle cream because it soaks in where you need it and the medicine doesn't come off on your clothing or bedding.

I had a very painful temp. inflammation of the hip joint (bursa) that was not helped by either prescription NSAIDs or lidocaine patches. Tried Salonpas with little hope over-the-counter product would work -- but it did! Regular patches are thin, and adhere to skin all day long but are still easily removed. Patches don't "breathe" so it's important to remove after suggested time to keep from irritating skin. I used daily for 2 weeks until bursitis was resolved. Drugstore.com sale price (buy one get one half price) was best price I could find on Web.

I have a herniated disc in my back which on occasion causes me severe pain in my hips. This pain alternates between hips. I have been using these patches for over a year when this pain begins. They are a reliable source of pain relief without heat.

I have tried many different types of pain patches, gels, creams, etc, with no relief. My doctor suggested I try Salonpas. They really work! I suffer from lower back pain and love golf. I hadn't been able to play 18 holes until I tried these patches. They are also cheaper than any of the oather patches I tried. I recommended them to several friends, and they got pain relief as well.

This is the best topical pain relief patch I have ever used. The relief lasts for quite a while. I have spinal stenosis, which causes severe back pain. I applied the patches to my back, and I have been able to function nearly pain-free. My husband has very debilitating neck pain which usually triggers a migraine. He woke up with the pain today, and I put a patch on the trigger point associated with the headaches. He is feeling fine without taking his prescription pain medication. I recommend them highly.
