It is VERY important that you only use a dab of this mousse if you have short hair. It does feel kind of heavy. I am not crazy about the smell but can live w/it. I have short straight hair and this works well for me but I can't imagine anyone being able to use this on longer hair and it work well. Like I said above it does feel heavy and my hair is very short. Would i recommend this? humm.. probably not. Will I continue to us it? yes I will till I find something better. Would I buy it again? (sorry) nope.

I started using this product after my favorite mousse became unavailable. I went through several cans of other brands of mousse before I found Samy Fat Hair. I love it. I use it on wet hair on the crown of my head everyday. It helps give me volume on the top of my head where my hair tends to lay flat. My hair is of medium thickness, medium length, and slightly wavy. My daughter has long, fine, straight hair. She has also used this mousse. It's the only one she's ever liked.

I bought this product after reading previous reviews and just a very little bit is all that you need. I have fine hair and if I use too much, it is too heavy for my hair. I don't know if I can actually say that I would recommend the product overall.

Not what I expected from the product. Tends to way my hair down.... could be my type of hair. May work better for someone else. I won't be buying it again.

My sister introduced me to the porduct. Gives my limp and lifeless hair great body. I love the way it keeps my style all day without becoming too stiff. The wind can blow it or I can run a comb or brush through my hair and the style stays in place.

I use product daily but on tv it really makes hair look fuller than what it does for my straight hair. I have used it on wet hair and dry hair

I have 56 year old fine curly hair. This is by far the very best mousse for the volume that I want and all-day hold. Be careful about using too much, though. I'd suggest a quarter size for short hair, a full golf-ball size for medium hair (mine).

I put this in my hair after towel-drying. It does not take much! One egg-sized dollop, if even that, is all you need. If you use too much, it makes your hair like straw. I work it through my short, fine hair, then blow-dry (usually upside down).

My hair is super fine and straight, and I have to fight with it daily to get it to hold volume. Sammy's Fat Hair line really takes a lot of the hassle out of the fight for me. It's the only line I've found that actually works for my baby-fine hair.

If you really want lots of volume and thickness... take a shower in the evening, apply this mousse, blow-dry your hair, then go to bed. The next morning, your hair will really feel thick and managable.
