Tried this once so far and plan to continue using!! I went to get the serum but the store only had the creme and I noticed here everyone has only written on creme....I wonder if the serum is newer. They seem exactly the same! Either way, you just put it in dry hair which is really easy - like if you forget after you done getting ready!! It is surprising light weight for it feeling so thick. It smells light - the rest of the products in the line smell really strong (kind of like professional products tend to but more!). I flipped my head over to kind of do what Samy did on the TV, but that just messed my hair up, so I brushed it out and it worked out like a balm, which was nice! But it wasn't as heavy as a balm and did give my hair so thickness throughout into the next day. I would NOT say this is a miracle worker and was nowhere *NEAR* volume shampoos, mousses, hairsprays, or other for-use-when-wet products. This seems like it would be heavy and it mostly is. But I do like it and it did ad a professional touch to my hair after application! It is shiny, healthy looking, salon hair, but not volume-at-the-roots hair.

I have very thin, straight long hair. I'm constantly trying to creat more volume from my roots. This product wasn't bad. I could tell a difference after using it and blow drying with a large round brush. However, the volume didn't last long. Have yet to find anything that keeps my hair volumized/in place all day. Not bad for the price, about what I expected from it.

The product does a good job of giving my hair volume (I have thinning hair because of a cancer medication), but the creme is very difficult to squeeze out. I've resorted to cutting the package open and putting the contents in another container!

I used just a small amount on my fine, straight hair and it looked great after styling it with a blow dryer. The volume and body lasts all day long, and my hair looks fuller and much thicker! I am anxious to try their other products, too!

I have a short bob & very fine hair so I thought I'd give this product a try. Last night I used it for the 1st time.

After thoroughly reading the directions I applied a pea-sized amount into my palm & rubbed my hands together then applied it to my towel dried hair. The product had a heavy & greasy consistency – like a heavy-duty conditioner that should be washed out. I read the directions again to make sure it was in fact a "leave-in-product". I blew dry my hair as recommended & went out with my husband for dinner & a movie.

During dinner my entire scalp became very itchy. As the night progressed my hair felt very heavy & began to look greasy (so much so that my husband actually commented). As the night progressed, the itchiness got worse. I could not wait to get home & wash this product out of my hair.

I would definitely not recommend this product. I am returning it to the store this week.

This product is certainly not for fine hair. Fat Hair Thickening Crème seems best suited for extremely dry, frizzy hair that would benefit from a leave-in-conditioner.

I have fine, straight hair that is limp and seriously lacks volume. If I wash it and let it air dry, it's like angel hair pasta sticking to my head. Not attractive. I've tried a LOT of thickeners -- from discount store stuff to TIGI to salon-owned brands, and nothing works like this stuff. It actually gives my hair body without weighing it down or making it sticky and gross. It's almost like a very flexible hair glue... without the stiff, dry, stickiness that glue creates. My hair feels soft and conditioned and looks healthy!

It only takes a DOT for towel-dried hair. I have short hair, so it's easy to use too much. Too much will not make hair thicker; it will make hair heavy and gunky. Better to use just a dime-sized dot, then add more if you think you need it. It adds body and fullness, and best yet, managability. I no longer use clouds of hair spray to try to create structure in my style -- Samy Thickening Creme lends some strength to each hair strand, so it can support its own weight.

Half-way through the day, if things are starting to sag, just flip your head over and run your fingers through your hair, and you have hours of volume all over again.

Love this for fine hair. I used it when my hair was long and it worked great whether I let my hair air dry or used a blow dryer. Now I have a bob and it leaves my hair looking thick and shiny. Great product
