First, let me say that I ordered this item on 1/2/11and the container does not look like the one pictured today (2/5/11). Mine doesn't have that large plastic hook over the top, it has a normal spray with a piece that flips up and keeps the nozzle clear. Maybe that is why I don't have any of the application problems others have stated. I love the product. I use it everyday after shampooing. It sprays out in a fine mist and never glops or goes on heavy. It gives my hair better body than the thickening spray made by B&B and it is only 1/3 the price. I will be thoroughly disappointed if the next time I order this I get the new spray bottle and I have the problems the others are having. I will save my current bottle in case I have to refill it to use the spray.

The spray comes out in a thick stream and doesn't dry. It just stays on top of hair and becomes sticky.

I hate to dry my hair but love to use a thickener on my fine but abundant hair. Most require heat drying to work - but this product does not. It works great to give my hair extra thickness and body without having to use the hairdryer.

I have tried a lot of thickeners and to be honest none of them work that great, a lot of them just leave your hair feeling dirty or make it look dull. Some have given my hair a bit of a fluff and others have just made it static-y. But I have to say that this one gives it more body than the others and doesn't leave it dull or dirty feeling. After my hair is dried it feels soft but has more fluff to it and I can manage it better than I can without the product. For the best overall body & fullness try using the matching "Fat Hair" shampoo and conditioner. Together this trio is a lot more impressive if you want maximum fullness and body (within reason). But in a pinch, if you don't have the "Fat" shampoo and conditioner just using the thickening spray can help with a little more body and bounce (and shine too!)

I use this product every time I shampoo my hair..... It seems to work fairly well..... I have very baby fine hair and it has been very hard to find a product that will work . This seems to be working better than previous products I've used. I would recommend it to others.

I agree with the other reviewers who criticized the design of the spray bottle. It is awkward to use. I did not have any problems using this problems when I blow-dried my hair. In fact, for me, the product worked only when I blew my hair dry.

I have very, very fine, thin, totally straight hair, and this is the very best volumizing product that I have ever used. And trust me I have tried many over my 54 years.

FYI - This is the 1st product review that I have ever submitted, so that tells you just how impressed I am with this product.

This product is hard to get out of the bottle--flaw #1. It also has a strong, sweet grape-like smell (flaw #2), which I didn't find particularly attractive but which I could have forgiven if it worked. It does work if you can style your hair very quickly. Otherwise it sets rock hard and you can't pull a brush through it in order to blow dry your hair AT ALL. Use it if you hair is very short (think buzz cut) and you want powerful volume that doesn't require more than 30 seconds of blow-dryer styling. I won't be buying it again.

The product is okay, but attempting to get it out of the bottle is ridiculously difficult! Who the heck invented the squirter on this product???? I expected more of Samy's spray, and was disappointed, but must admit that my reaction was fueled by the frustration I felt in using the sprayer. Don't bother, folks!
